Awesome axe! This is a perfect axe for camping or around the home. Great balance and easy handling make it a great tool for small splitting and clearing. Holds a very sharp edge! I love it!

It’s an Estwing. Nothing more really needs to be said. Nicely balanced. Great craftsmanship. And the blade – the blade – sharp, nicely tapered, and comes with a nylon cover to boot! Can also be used as a hammer with the butt end of the blade. You can’t go wrong with an Estwing. It’s as simple as that.

The camp axe is a great compliment to your camping equipment. The mask is very functional. The only Draw back for me is I had to sharpen it a little but that maybe on purpose since it’s going to be hanging in a tool Isle. The steel handle works out well in case of over-striking a piece of wood you don’t have to worry about breaking the handle.

It’s an axe. If you’re hoping it’s something else, or more than an axe, you’re out of luck.It doesn’t make coffee, or toast bread. But, if you’re looking for a decent camp axe, this is a very serviceable example. It’s fairly light, has a decent bite and there’s surprisingly little recoil.I’d give it five stars, but that seems kinda silly. It’s an axe

Great axe. Bought this for my dad cause I loved mine so much. Barely small enough to just be able to use it with one hand if you needed to. Blade is on the thinner side for an axe but it’s durable and solid. Wouldn’t be my first choice to use it to fell a large tree but I’m sure it could. Perfect size for large branches, firewood, and small to medium diameter trees.

This is a great campers axe. Really keeps a sharp edge. No worries about breaking the handle. The weight is well distributed but it could be a little heavy for some

5th axe I’ve bought. Not because they break but because I consider them excellent as a gift. I own 2 and have gifted 3.

Excellent light and strong camp / ATV axe. Not for heavy splitting, get a maul.

I felt like a kid on Christmas day when the Estwing 26 in. Camper’s Nylon-Vinyl Grip Handle Axe was delivered. Because of the fine craftmanship and it’s made in the USA. So far it has worked great for splitting chunks of a log and chopping through small tree branches. I use it about once a week when I have time off from work.
