The hammers handle are very durable. There is not the splitting or cracking of the handles like with fiberglass and wood hands. The cost for this hammer is higher than ones with fiberglass or wood, but you make up for the cost in the durability and life of the hammer.

Estwing Hammes are the best! I have 40 years of experience in Heavy Industrial Construction as a Welder Steamfitter! One of my Estwing hammers is bought in the 60’s by my Dad and I still use it all the time!

A bit pricey for a bashy tool. But it is an Estwing, as solid as a hammer gets. The size is right, at 3 lbs. I can swing it as long as I need to without wearing my arm out. And the handle is long enough it isn’t a knuckle buster. The last one I’ll ever need unless it grows legs.

Great product for those people that are your tired of the old wooden handle coming loose

While the hammer was a little expensive, It does seem to hold up to the abuse I give hammers. I had a regular wooden handle hammer and replaced the handles 3 times ($9 apiece plus my labor to install) and a fiber glass handle hammer that was just a few dollars less. I’ll know more in a year, but, for now, it looks pretty good.

Outstanding USA made quality. Perfectly weighted in the hand, looks like an art object too.
