Nice camp axe. Of course the coating comes off the blade but it doesn’t affect the performance.

A fine tool for the camping purpose. I did remove and replace the sheath a it was a wrestling match trying to draw the axe from the sheath for use. Placed another ‘Tourbon’ blade cover on and an Estwing 94754 hammer holder stiffened with Urethane on the leather, but still had to shave some of the rubber off the lower grip end to ease the draw. Now quiet, unlike other metal hammer holders, and does not allow the axe handle to swing much at all. Rather closer to perfect.

It’s an axe – seems solid enough for what it’s intended for. There’s no moving parts to comment on, other than my arm swing when using this, which could always use some improvement.
