I find myself using air powered tools more and more, and this floor nailer is a welcome addition to my set of air tools. My first impressions was of the quality of the nailer and the included accessories. The padded carrying case should keep the nailer looking like new for years. The instructions are excellent and the tool was easy to load and use. So far it has not jammed once, which speaks well of the quality of the tool.Besides the intended use of the tool for installing flooring for which it has performed flawlessly, I have a future project that requires fastening together multiple layers of OSB. Because of the 45 degree angle that this nailer fires, its maximum penetration is reduced to 1.4 inches for 2 inch fasteners which is enough for my needs. The 45 degree angle means I can get better resistance to separation by setting the fasteners in pairs with a 180 degree rotation.

If you use the flooring nailer/stapler everyday you may want to incest in a higher grade one but if you only use it s few times a year like me this one is the nailer for you. Very versatile and easy to use.

We LOVE its light-weight! This is MUCH easier to handle than those clunky old nailers of thirty years ago. I really appreciate the carrying case. That makes it easy to keep the special hammer handy and never forget the air-tool oil. In my experience, the biggest trick to keeping air tools running well is to always lube the tools before use. With nailers, you might need to lube it twice a day on big jobs. That’s easy if you don’t lose your bottle of lube. Having a convenient bag that holds everything makes carrying everything easy and forgetting things hard. Of course, having a convenient carrying case helps prevent damage in transit too. I’ve only used this on one job so far, but it performed flawlessly… no jams, no misfires, perfect penetration, easy to adjust, position and fire. This is a heavy-duty tool without being too heavy.

What an excellent tool. Love the five-year warranty, the big hammer, the choice of fasteners, the swiveling air attachment. Worked as promised straight out of the box. Staples go exactly where they’re supposed to with the changeable bottom plate. After watching a how-to video, wife and I worked out a workflow, and we put down our 3/4-inch red oak boards with no gaps and no jams. One of the best single purpose tools I’ve ever bought.

Nailer worked perfect. It worker better and was more comfortable to use than some of my more expensive nailers. There where two cons 1. limited nail capacity and the mallet face split on the first floor.

Outstanding performance on 3/4-inch oak flooring. No jams through 1500 staples. Well worth the price. Love the swiveling air attachment – prevents pulling of the hose on the nailer, helps keep the shoe oriented correctly with the nailing seam. Taught wife to use it, and now I’m a happy man.
