This is a nice little tool. It’s a little longer than my old one so you get a little more leverage.

I bought this as an inexpensive rip out bar for a dock redecking project. It did a great job. I was able to slightly bend the long end of the bar and went back to HD to buy a stronger bar made by DeWalt. Turns out the DeWalt bar was too stiff and too thick to do the job. I ended up using this bar because it got the best results and did the best job of ripping out the old boards. Every 4-5 boards, I would rotate the long end of the bar to rip out the next board to help bend it back to it’s original shape. I was able to tear up 110 feet of dock board and the bar is still in great shape. Bottom line is it did a great job and even though I initially thought the bar should have been less flexible, it was the flex that did a better job than the DeWalt bar.
