I used to use these when I worked in construction, long ago. Needed one for a small project at the house, and was glad to find they had not changed. We called them cat’s paws, but whatever you call them, if the design changed I do not believe it would be as good a product.

This is a very useful tool when prying boards from the side is not an option. I have used it with multiple nail types and even a few stripped screws. It is painted so don’t be surprised when the paint chips off with use. The vinyl grip does take some of the shock which is nice with extended use.
