I replaced my old framing hammer for tis ergonomically designed model. There is a big difference in balance and energy to use it. I should have did this sooner…

This hammer was among the lowest price. No complaints. This was my fist framing hammer. By the quality and feel I don’t think I will need another one for years to come. Built my own shed and garage so far. Next step is my house, will by nail gun for that.Journeyman Mason

I was building a storage shed with 2 x 4’s and 16p nails and my regular claw hammer was not working that well. After using the 25oz framing hammer it was so much easier to drive the nails. The balance and quality of Estwing sure strike hammer was all that I could have asked for, it exceeded my expectations.

I bought this same hammer into 2007 and he was a very very good hammer and lasted man until I guess this year 2015 good quality but the price now is very expensive but it’s worth it.

This is a good hammer but is made in Taiwan. I have bought the same model American made in the stores. Quality appears to be the same.

Ive been using this hammer for about two years and all I can say, what a fantastic tool! Sinks 12s all day and doesn’t tire my arm out. Love the wooden handle, I modified mine because it was a bit too big. Nice to have some stock to sand off if you want to make a perfect fit to your hand. Went crazy with woodburning and lichtenberg figures to resemble Mjolnir (nerdy carpenter)

Works as expected. As 65 years of age I may have waited a little to buy this.

I’m a 52 year old carpenter who suffers from arthritis. I’ve used steel handles from 21-32 ounces for years, thus the arthritis. Bought this hammer 8 months ago and the pain and swollen joints are gone. I recommend this hammer for anyone who suffers from arthritis. Great balance lite weight and superb striking force.

I am a big fan of California framing hammers and I absolute love to use this hammer. I can frame all day with it and sink 16s one after another in 2 hits. The grip is just the right size as I have bigger hands and find the grips on quite a few hammers to not be think enough. The weight is perfect I have used a 28 ounce estwing hammer in the past and felt it was two heavy to swing all day. The hammer is light enough to swing strait up over head when doing vinyl soffit without leaving your arm sore. I have been using this hammer almost every day since September and it has been great the wood handle is holding up great even though I have worn the finish off were I hold it.

Works great and at a fraction of the price of my usual hammer. The curved handle gives you more prying leverage.
