I bought to remove a zillion staples from a shipping crate. The staples were embedded and this tool is pretty inefficient. Not sharp or small enough to get under the staples without a hammer. Takes several minutes a staple. Maybe it would work to pull regular nails or staples that aren’t imbedded.

This is the best cats paw bar I’ve ever used. It has the straight and the 90 degrees claws and they are good shape for getting under nails easily.

I am removing carpeting in the house and this thing works like a charm, for pulling the small nails that I can’t get to with a hammer.

This tool works well for pulling staples out of my hardwoods following removal of carpet.

Best nail puller on the planet! Should have bought it 20 years ago. I like it cause it is small, and has really sharp points to dig in around those pesky communist nail heads. You wont be pulling out 40d nails with this thingy, but it is the Death Star on the smaller stuffPlus, it looks really cool. You will be the envy of your drinking buddies when they see this thing.

A simple tool which helps remove small or tack nails. Easy to use. Also, If you have soft wood flooring, rotted or a masonite board, position the tool close to the nail and hit it with a hammer to dig in and bite the nail. Pull it out and remove the entire board (subfloor) in one piece, no fragments.

Worked great.I was looking to buy a mini-crowbar but this was all they had. It worked better than I could have hoped in the small closet project I was working on. so it’s great for tight spaces.

bought this to help me remove old rubber treads on the basement stairs. Each tread had six carpet nails, three under the lip and three on top. This did short work of pulling out all 78 tiny tacks. I was pleasantly surprised at its ability to get under the nail head and grab it.
