This bar is truly a unique patented contractor bar. This Estwing 17 in. roofing, siding, contractor bar is drop forged from fine tool steel. One end has a thin blade with a 2-1/2 in. fulcrum giving it a higher lift than other bars. This 3 in 1 bar is perfect for removing shingles, sheeting and siding along with downspouts and gutters. The other end has a Japanese pattern nail puller with rounded head to improve leverage. It also removes imbedded nails with ease. Protect your eyes from flying particles and dust. Always wear safety goggles. Bystanders shall also wear safety goggles.

I purchased this bar yesterday to rip out baseboard molding and carpet. It is extremely durable and strong. It’s use is not completely indicated, so I can’t really complain, but- it was a tad difficult to remove the trim because the end of the pry portion was a little too thick. It did get the job not, and is well worth the money!

The pointed claw on this bar is unique. I do a lot of demolition of wood structures; this is my favorite tool for removal of difficult nails. With this tool and a hammer I can remove pretty much any nail, even embedded nails. I use the flat end less, but do find it useful for creating separation between tightly nailed boards

This tool came in tremendously handy in tearing up the underlayment in a house. The narrow neck can be driven under the nails near the baseboard while the larger end is perfect for lifting the underlayment up a little at a time. If you are working on your floors or roof this little guy will be your best friend no doubt. It allows you to do a professional quality job in a short amount of time without wearing you out. I have been in maintenance 40 years and have seen a lot of tools come and go but this one is well worth having. Oh, I forgot to mention that it is the berries for pulling up the carpet tack strips as well. A real workhorse and it doesn’t take much to feed him.
