Well -balanced hammer for the sheetmetal worker- blue handle material absorbs vibration better than wood and it won’t be damaged by the occasional overstrike. This hammer and its 12 ounce Estwing brother are unbeatable for the pro & useful for the hobbyist metalworker as well.Both can be extremely noisy when pounding sheetmetal duct sections! I bought this hammer when I was an apprentice and have used the heck out of it. I have had leather handles they make my arm hurt after a good days work. The rubber absorbs much more of the shock, and should last forever, unlike the leather.
