The area that opens the bottle caps is very small.

This Everbilt Skull Bottle Opener is kewl. I was a little disappointed that the teeth don’t open the bottle tho. You have to place the bottle under the chin of the skull. The finish is kind of like a gunmetal which I really love. It’s good quality and you can place it indoors or outdoors. It took about 40 seconds to hang it up with the 2 included screws. It looks great on the wall and I have already gotten many compliments on it. The price is great too!

I was on the hunt for a wall mounted skull, 2 of them…keeping in mind a tight budget. I used these tor decor on a head board I was designing. They worked PERFECTLY and look amazing on my head board. They can also be spray painted to fit in with your rooms decor!

Love this skull. It looks great and is solid and easy to install. Way bigger than I thought it would be, but nothing wrong with that. Opens bottles (beer at least is all I have tried) and being solid metal I have no second thoughts of its longevity. It says outdoor use but I do not know whether it will rust or not in humid or wet conditions. You can always paint it or clearcoat. I think I’ll let my daughter paint it for me.

I wish I could reply to the bad reviews. My husband also thought that it was trash and he spilled the beer. He was doing it wrong….you are all doing it wrong. Instead of trying to use the top works! as the cap remover use the bottom. The top of the cap rests against the top teeth and the bottom teeth remove the cap. Otherwise yes the bottle has to be inverted….this way works!!

Intended use/audience: Wall mounted (screws included) bottle opener shaped like a skull. My experience: I spent a lot of time in my garage and you get thirsty. The skull bottle opener was a nice addition to some of the other decor (old license plates, vintage automotive signs, etc). Bottle opener works well and a lot of “that’s so cool” comments.Bottles are opened by putting the bottle cap into the mouth of the skull (about perpendicular to the opened) and then pushing down on the bottle until the cap opens. I’d seen in some reviews people mentioning using the chin of the skull to open the bottle.Pros:- opens your favorite bottled beverage- looks cool- hardware includedCons:- noneFinal verdict: Definitely a neat functional piece of decor.

Its hard to bring down this item. Thick decent metal and screws. I choose a different longer screw to have a real solid mount to it. When they restock these ill be buying more. Still looking to get 20 more. I would like to see a 2nd model of this skull with a hindged jaw. Just for the looks.
