I’ve only used it on 3mm & 4mm wire rope so far, but works exactly as it should. Easy and clean cut every time so far!

The only thing I have noticed In negativity to these is that you have to be exacting in your cuts or they will fray the cable

It cuts the cable but seems it might ware out too quickly.

Everbilt 8″ wire and cable cutters, Great tool to have in your tool pouch, Great for cutting steel cable where it won’t fray the ends as it’s shown in the photo provided, I also use it to cut electrical stranded wires much easier then regular wire cutters, Nice strong metal well made with return open spring and lock close attachment to keep the cutting edges protected from getting damaged.

I use this cutter everyday almost to help customers with their cable havent cut anything larger than 5/16 yet but It did a decent job with 5/16 cable don’t think I could cut any bigger without using a lot of strength

could be a little longer in the handle for easier cutting of cable but works fantastic easy to readjust after several cuts

The Everbilt cutters cut the 3/32 cable that I was working with very well, however after about 30 cuts of the cable the cutters do not seem to cut as “clean” anymore and the ends frayed more at the cut than as I made more cuts.I will clean and oil and see if it is just me or the cutters.

Does the same job as other, much more expensive wire cutters

Started the project of cutting 1/8 cable with bult cutters. It didn’t cut the ends sharp enough to push the cable through a 3/16 hole. Thesr cutters worked great.

These work great, I used them to cut 1/8″ cable and they cut the cable with little effort.
