Our ThinHaus tiny homes are made with 16ga steel studs … almost like aircraft! This is the blade of choice here and with a bit of care, they last a very long time, cut straight and with little of no spark. If you are cutting steel, this is the right blade.

It works like it should. My last saw blade seemed to last forever…probably near 800 to 1000 cuts. However using it on thin stainless steel really took its toll on the teeth in the last month of its life and I really noticed it when cutting some thicker spring steel. So, I don’t recommend it on thin stainless. I also purchased a blade made for stainless steel and will take the time to change the blade out.

I’m really satisfied with the performance of evolution tools I have 2 and the perform good cuts clean and most of all quick no abrasive dust mess. I teach metal shop and when I instruct my students how to use these tools I ask them to take care of them, these tools are your money making tools you can’t make money with a broken tool. this saw and blade is everything and maybe even more. It product many cuts 2 in. 1in. angle 90 & 45 degree before showing blade dulling. Square tubing with the hardened weld seam was no match, although it may have dulled blade somewhat. Found by error and new blade wrecking that cut angle iron at 45

Just got my Rage 2 blade, and I love it. Even on my old worn out chop saw, it rips thru steel. The cuts are clean, and no burrs. I would never go back to an abrasive blade again.
