Used this to cut a stainless steel storage tank in half and it worked perfectly. It was a pretty thin gauge metal, so not sure how well it would do with a thicker piece, but it was exactly what I needed for my project.

Very effective cutting the stainless steel pipe I purchased the saw for. Key thing for any metal saw is letting the saw do the work and not forcing it to cut faster. Yes, there was a slight burr at the end but that was expected – just like an abrasive wheel. Rotary grinding tool made short work of that. Cut was straight and true.

Using the saw to cut Tamyln Extreme Profiles. Works well, but on a miter cut I was able to bend the rear jaw fence. Now I have to use a vise jaw to straighten it somewhat. Not good for miters on profiles.
