Awesome saw. I’ve only used it once on a small piece of pipe. Cut the pipe extremely quick. Love the v groove pipe clamping lock tool it comes with. It left mild burs in the small diameter pipe. I imagine it won’t on larger diameter thing like angle, square, stock etc. Only thing I was bumbed about was mild being the the back plate you tighten materials down against (the adjustable section) was a bit flimsy as far as tightening the crap out if something it will start the bend. No biggie, easy modification if it bothers you like me. I’ll be welding a brace there. Only reason I gave the saw a 4 star not a 5.

The cut quality in metal is excellent. There is no heat affected zone and it leaves very few burrs, if any. The chips are are of such a size that they do not create an inhalation hazard like abrasive saws.Ease of use is surprisingly nice. All adjustments and maintenance are performed with a hex wrench which is provided and mounts conveniently in the base.Squareness is sufficient for stainless exhaust work (given the appropriate blade), and the tool guarding is substantial. There is also a locking pin in the base to hold the compound down, allowing you to carry it with the provided second handle. No monkeying around with a small chain.Spectacular value.

So far so good. I had an abrasive before this and this is so much better. Smooth cuts and not hot after cutting. They will not cut hardened steel, it will break the teeth off. Make sure you know what you are cutting.
