I have been searching for a basic pasta cooker insert that was fairly priced. I don’t plan to use it daily, so I didn’t need one of the expensive ones I saw. This 8 qt. stainless multicooker fit the bill. It does exactly as it states – allowing me to easily steam vegetables or cook pasta without struggling to drain a heavy pot over the sink. I’ve only used it a few times, as I’ve had it about 3 weeks. The vented lid is nice for allowing some steam to escape. The pot isn’t a superior thick metal like my Revere ware stainless, but then the price reflects that too.I would recommend this product.
