A friend of mine recommended this to me so I could make his grandmother’s Italian Meatball Ragu recipe. The results were amazing!! It’s a bit of work to use the tool to get the tomato sauce and juice separated from the tomato pulp, seeds, and skins but the results are perfect!! Highly recommend!

I got the Excel Steel Food Mill with 3 grinding sizes primarily for grinding blanched and peeled tomatoes for-making tomato sauce from my garden tomatoes. I use the the grinder with the smallest holes for that.. Having the extra grinders with larger holes, will come in handy as well.
