So far, so good. Took away the smell of chlorine that would make you nauseous when you cut the tap water on. I don’t have to clean my strainer screens anymore of the white, green, blue debris that accumulated in them every 3 months or so. The are clean, smell is gone, just water now!!!

After MUCH internet research, I suspected it was elevated levels of chloramines in my municipal water (Houston, TX) causing me to develop a sneeze, runny nose, and burning eyes after 20 min or so in the shower. According to my research, RO doesn’t work (full RO systems MAY work, if the chloramine is pre-filtered out), and water softeners don’t work. Immediately after installing this filter the sneezing went away. After about 2 months, I continue to have no adverse reactions to the water, regardless how long I spend in or around the shower, shower steam, etc. I believe this filter is absolutely eliminating the cause of my problem. The water otherwise is clean, but I opted for this specific filter for 3 reasons: (1) the filter sizes are standard so I could more easily source filters in the long-term. (2) It includes pressure gauges so I didn’t have to purchase and plumb gauges. (3) Because it has 3 canisters so that I could try replacing the ACB with second KDF to get more runtime out of one set of filters.

Unit arrived well packaged and very sturdy. Very well made, helpful pressure gauges for each tank. Installation took approximately 1 hour. Within 1 hour of installation, we had crystal clear water. I installed one month ago so I cannot comment on the longevity of the filters or housing unit.

I looked at WH Water Systems for at least 6 months – decided to purchase the Heavy Metals 3 Stage WH Water Filter system from Express based on water tests and comparison of other similar products. Shipping was quick, the system was well packed, no damage or issues upon receipt. The Installation Manual is well documented with lots of excellent instructions and diagrams. Installation took approximately two and a half hours including flushing the system. We noticed an immediate improvement in the quality of our water for showers, cooking, drinking, and washing clothes – crystal clear! As recommended, we added the iSpring WSP50 sediment filter. Our only regret is that we didn’t install this system sooner!

So far its really good, I haven’t noticed and pressure drop with this system. The filters are large and with a 1″ infeed and out feed you’ll still get good flow. The water is cleaner and is over all much better.
