They had recommended 3 stage heavy metal . So we purchased the heavy metal filter system. The system was very easy to install with no leaks. It is installed in the garage in a climate-controlled area. Within the first three days the sediment filter was yellow. I could not believe how dirty the city water is. Great product. Want one for my house now too. We put this filtration system in our cottage instead of a water softener because it can be easily winterized. We are very impressed with how much rust it removed from the water and the taste is great. No more buying bottled water for us. This is the only filtration system we found that has the pressure gauges as part of the system. This will tell which one of the filters needs to be changed.

While replacing an older tub/shower unit that was badly stained with hard water with high iron the homeowner wanted me to install two water filters feeding the bathroom i told them they would be changing the filters every week and said i would look into a filter system for the whole house and showed the Express heavy metal water filter system, they bought it I installed with no problems it pretty straight forward. it worked perfect clean drinkable water with no staining on the new tile shower I installed for them they are very pleased. My only problem was I made sure all the gauges and filter cups were tight before turning the water back on and the gauges didn’t work, I made a call to customer service they were busy with other calls so I left a message explaining the problem and they returned my call in minutes and said the gauges were to tight and to loosen them a half a turn and problem solved. Very happy and will recommend to future clients.

The filter works great, no smell or funny taste any more. Don’t even bother with Teflon tape for the threaded fittings, just use liquid Teflon pipe sealant.

A weekend home with a well that had sediment and rust issues. Previously had only a 5 micron sediment filter, whenever we would leave this home for a week or more, then return there would be rust stains in the toilets and orange water would come out of the faucets for the first few seconds, then clear up. We would run water and clean the toilets each arrival, then it would be ok while we were there for several days, although the water also did have an iron smell all the time. Installed the Heavy Metals 3 Stage Whole House Water Filter system, then did a lot of flushing the pipes and water heater. Left the house and returned one week later to crystal clean toilets and clear water from all faucets! Very happy with the results, seems to be removing all the iron. Water also tastes better, no smell or flavors. This home has 4 bathrooms with showers so I was also afraid of too much pressure drop across the filters with all 4 showers running. Well pump to filters is plumbed in 1″ PVC, the rest of the house is 3/4″ copper. Turned on 4 showers and flushed 2 toilets, showers still all flowing well. Pressure gauges showing 8-10 psi drop across all 3 filters with 4 showers and 2 toilets flowing (probably 10 GPM), so some drop, but not bad.

I am very pleased with the filtration system and Express Water support. First off, I received the system within a couple days of ordering and it was well packaged to ensure that it would be well protected from damage during shipment. The instructions were very good and it was easy to install. I did have a problem after the first week and Express Water support helped me troubleshoot the issue which turned out to be a defective filter. They shipped me out a new set of filters and then the system once again worked perfect. Been working well for a month now and it is amazing how much the sediment filter has filtered out of the city water – where it was bright white it is already light brown. Also no more bad taste or oder. Very happy with this purchase and should have done it long ago.
