I have this in both sizes but really could use one or two smaller versions such as an 8qt.It is a really modern lid and handle so I don’t know why they do not expand this line!

I use my pot for canning! I got one for my daughter in law for a gift. She does seafood boils, and this is perfect! I love all of my Farberware…I have a complete set of pots and pans, electric skillet too! They are probably 25 years old, and they look like new! I use them every day!

I got my first version of this pot when I got married in '87. Technically it still is humming along (it acquired a small dent that split the rim a 1/2" somewhere along the way but it didn't affect the use), it just has seen better days! Ordering a new one to retire the old workhorse for when I need a back up. I use this almost daily because it is a MUCH better pasta (the wider base allows the longer pastas to lay down and can handle 2 lbs at a time) and soup (again the wider base and 12QT capacity holds 2-3 chicken carcasses) pan than others I've tried.
