I have farberware pots and pans for 50 yrs. They are still looking great and cooking great. These are the only pans I put in my dishwasher and they clean beautifully. Sparkling and spotless. I have loved these pans. I have very expensive pans that don’t come close to Farberware. They cook consistently every time and I cook all the time. I have a ceramic cooktop and they perform wonderfully. I have never been disappointed.

My father’s mother used only Farberware and she did some catering. My mother received lots of Farberware for her wedding. I received lots of Farberware for my wedding, and now have Grandma’s pieces. Some of the duplicated from my grandmother my daughters are now using. (some we were able to locate at resale and rummage shops for my daughters too) Excellent quality, but I would never put in an oven. only use on stove top

We had this a very short time and the handle broke covering me in food. Not fun. Its also proving impossible to find a replacement handle. I do not want to pay to ship this great big very heavy pan and wait six weeks to see if the warranty is honored. If you buy this but it from a local store with a good return policy so you can get a replacement if it breaks.

I use this pan almost daily. Unfortunately the handle snapped off as I was lifting the pan full of food from the oven (even using the helper handle)…then chicken and chicken juice spilled all over my oven, floor and cabinets. Quite a mess. Searching now for replacement handle.

The pan’s weight and solid construction, especially the heavy bottom, allows it to hold heat well and evenly. While there are more modernly-styled pans and cookware sets out there, this pan hasn’t changed much since the late 1940s for a reason – it works very well. It also reminds me of my grandmother’s kitchen and that makes me smile every time I use it.
