I frequently drink coffee – about 4-5 cups a day. When I used a saucepan to heat the water I had to keep checking to see if was boiling. Now the whistle lets me know.

Came ready, very easy. My grandmother with arthritis has no problem pulling handle for water

Nice little kettle for the price. Does the job. The kettle spout does not lock or stay open automatically, which is a pain if you don’t want to hear the whistle.

Do not like the way it opens to release water, very awkward. I am not very strong and to hold kettle and try and use the kettle to let water out is very hard. Would not have ordered. The price was right, but would have paid more to get a more convenient handle release. Hate it, but am stuck.

Have had this kettle for many many years and finally had to replace. Found it here as best price. I agree it would be convenient to have lid “click” open, but I am fine with it. So glad it whistles as it can be boiling when I am upstairs and I will hear it. I come back down, add tea and let it cool to make my own iced tea. I’ve never had a problem

The handle is kind of awkward and stiff. Otherwise, it serves its purpose.

Teakettle is very well made. Like the size and the way it looks. The only set back it that the area where the water comes out of get rust within. Have to make sure you wipe the lip.

The Tea Kettle appears to be high quality. It looks and works great. It is easy to use.

It looks really nice and heats the water flawlessly. There is a flaw however. Had I known how difficult it is to pull the trigger that opens the spout? I would never have made the purchase. It is a disappointment that I will need to deal with every time I use this teapot. And that is an unpleasant disappointment. You have to pull really hard to make the spout lid open. The trigger is thin and so presses uncomfortably on the finger. All in all it is not a good design. Looks good. Fails!
