Great product. I had never used a percolator before and I needed a way to make coffee without using glass (like a coffee press) while I was camping. It worked so well and made delicious coffee while I was camping, that I’ve decided to use it regularly on my stovetop at home. I suggest doing a few trial runs before taking it in the road so you know exactly how strong you want your coffee.

This percolator is made to last! I bought it for power outages so I can make coffee on my gas burner on the grill! I tested it and drank the entire pot by myself. The coffee was delicious!

This is a great coffee maker that can make up to eight cups, however, I use it for only four cups. It is made from stainless steel, for smooth and shiny, it makes my kitchen looks great. by the way, this is not the first time I had such a coffee maker, this has been manufactured at least since 2007 when I got one when I knew about it. I don’t believe you will regret buying this.

Unit works very well, once you learn the particulars of its use…especially water level & proper heat input level.

Overall, we are very happy with the stovetop percolator. We prefer it over the electric percolator which we were replacing once per year because the heating element would burn out religiously on month 13. The stovetop percolator solved this issue, and we’ve had our Yosemite Percolator now for over 5 Years. It goes with us on our camping trips too (used on a campstove – NOT the campfire!). If I could suggest two improvements, they would be to inscribe the water-fill marks larger and more prominent. The way they are now is very very difficult to see. And while it’s not to big a deal, I’m reminded every morning of this as I struggle to fill it to the desired level. Secondly, make the percolator knob out of glass. I’d pay an extra $3 for this, since I’m paying for it now to replace the old one.

I just recently installed a FRIGIAIRE FGI3047VF INDUCTION RANGE. I included the model# so people could look it up and see that it is INDUCTION. The FARBERWARE YOSEMITE 8-cup Percolator may not be magnetic, but it worked perfectly. I was using a CORNINGWARE stovetop PERCOLATOR for years, and needed a replacement to use on the new stove without an adapter. I just started using the YOSEMITE. Hope I don’t have the glass top break as many people have said. Not as stream line as the CorningWare, but looks great. Just be careful if removing the lid after perking, the glass gets hot.

Great percolator! It’s making the coffee alright! It has a tenancy to boil over if you’re not careful, but I’ve found the sweet spot after a few uses, and it’s been smooth sailing ever since. 9/10

I just bought this yesterday and was eager to try it out. The instructions were very simple and clear.I anxiously waited for it to complete the percolating process and was astonished at the taste. I should first say the temperature of the coffee was hot, letting me know that's a good sign. I finished the cup I poured, a rarity. I am so happy I bought it and can't praise this percolator enough. The brand was the selling feature along with the price. I looked for a long time for a percolator, mostly at the electric ones. When I came across this type I hesitated but because of the name I bought it. So glad I did. Makes a great cup of coffee

Nice weight and size. Only complaint is the design at top of pot. The lip folds under, so it’s harder to be sure it’s rinsed well. Otherwise good purchase.

I have went thru 6 percolators since the beginning of the year. I love using a percolator and this does brew good coffee but after using it a couple of time the coffee comes out like water. Very disappointed with how they don’t last. Did not drop it and I always wash it. I use the 4cup and when I wake up and want a cup of coffee and it brews like water it ruins my morning. Really like the percolator but it doesnt last. The cover is constantly breaking as well.
