Love the petite size more than I expected I to. Used this 1qt saucepan to boil noodles, steam broccoli carrots. Perfect for straining without the hassle of transporting.

We have been married for over fifty years and I have always used Farberware cookware. It has lasted a long time but I liked the newer style with the pour spouts/drainers. I find that quite handy and quite an improvement.

This pan is so useful for so many things. Great for a small family. Also great for warming leftovers. There are only two of us and it suits our needs so well. The strainer is great for veggies of all kinds. I usually cook them in a no salt chicken broth rather than butter or salted water since we both have dietary restrictions.

Every day use. Great to drain off liquids from food. New base is nice and flat and is ultra compatible with glasstop range for maximum heat transfer.

This Farberware 1 Quart Straining Sauce Pan has become the most used pot in our kitchen. From heating up soup to cooking and straining vegetables. I love that all I have to do is hold the lid in place, tilt the pot and strain away.

I use this for my husbands pasta salads and making tea. No steam burns,no splashing hot water. It’s amazing

I really like the pour feature in the lid. The pot is much taller than I expected which make pouring more difficult!!! The metal is very thin, unlike my current Farberware pots that are more rugged and heavier (from 30 years ago and going strong!).

Made making mac n cheese and pasta so much easier, less to clean up too

This is a wonderful straining saucepan. It is super easy to use and ideal for anybody who loves cooking. Not having to search for a straining is a dream! I love that the lid so easily turns towards the spout when you are ready to drain/strain out the liquid without any chance of burning yourself! The pan handle and knob on top of the lid doesn’t get hot and makes it even better! The metal heats up nicely and seems to also cool off quickly after cooking. I highly recommend this pan to anybody who cooks! Great product!

I love the concept of the saucepan having a strainer built it and I immediately used it to cook frozen corn. I generally add a little water when cooking frozen veggies and use a slotted spoon when scooping out a serving, but with this little saucepan all I had to do was drain out the excess water and boom, no need for a slotted spoon. Also, this works great for cooking ramen noodles. It’s just big enough for the noodle square and I have the option of pouring out a bit of water without losing any noodles. I also appreciate that the knob and handle don’t get too hot. Easy to wash as well. Love it!

I have owned this set of Farberware pots and love them. I burnt this saucepan very badly and could not recover it so I purchased this as a replacement.

Even better than the one I’m replacing!

Safer from steam as water is poured off. Good size for corn on the cob. Would be nice to have a 2-Quart size.

I have always trusted Farberware for its durability, sleek design, and comfort of use. This new addition to my other pots, the straining 3 quart saucepan, is wonderful. It makes draining anything from vegetables to pasta, simple and efficient.
