I wasn’t sure if I would like this pan due to how small it is since I usually cook family sized meals but since I got this covered straining saucepan I have been using it surprisingly a lot. This pan is perfect for small batches of noodles, ramen, gravy, vegetables, ect. This pan is lightweight but heavy duty. The handles are nice, dont get hot, and comfortable to handle. Overall love this pan and would prob purchase another if anything happens to this one.

This replace a saucepan that my husband almost burned down the house using. I didn’t know the new ones had a spout on both side for easy pouring or that it had a strainer (different hole widths) on each side of the lid. Very handy, probably the norm, but I’ve not purchased pots/pans since 1978!

I really like the pour feature in the lid. The pot is much taller than I expected which make pouring more difficult!!! The metal is very thin, unlike my current Farberware pots that are more rugged and heavier (from 30 years ago and going strong!).

I had the opportunity to try Farberware’s Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan. I am in the kitchen seven days a week, as I enjoy cooking dinner for my family daily and also bake frequently. Farberware brand never seems to disappoint. This 1-Quart covered saucepan features a mirrored stainless steel finish and an aluminum core. The saucepan heats up quickly and evenly on my gas stovetop, and is the perfect size for preparing/heating small sides, such as vegetables, sauces, soup, etc. My favorite feature of Farberware’s Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan is the straining holes in the products lid. The lid is equipped with holes on two sides; one side small drainage holes and the other larger. This feature enables quick and easy one-handed straining, without having to utilize a second appliance (strainer). The handle of this Farberware cookware remains cool throughout the cooking process. It is thick and I love the built in strainer in the lid. It seems to heat quickly and looks nice. I have used it several times and really like it. It is not as wide but more tall than most pans which may cause a little problem depending on what type of stove you have. All in all, I would recommend it

I love the fact that this pain has a strainer cover. It makes it so easy to dump any sauce or liquid. The only problem I have is that the pan too small I wish it was a bigger to cook a big patch of pasta.

I was i introduced to Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan through viewpoints. At first glace i like the quality of the sauce pan and the shiny stainless steel look. Its good quality yet its light to hold which i love because i have and old wrist injury and carrying and handling this saucepan is easy on my wrist. I love to make my own spaghetti and gravey sauces. This pan is perfect for it. My sauces cook evenly and dont stick to the bottom edges like I’ve experienced with other sauce pans. I can keep this pan in the oven up to 350 degrees. Its dishwasher safe and easy to clean If washing by hand. The one thing i love most about this sauce pan is the strainer built in. You just align the sides while holding the lid and tilt to strain. Compared to other brands ive used over the years, this saucepan is more useful and better in quality and i recomend the Farberware brand and will invest in other Faberware products.
