I love the concept of the saucepan having a strainer built it and I immediately used it to cook frozen corn. I generally add a little water when cooking frozen veggies and use a slotted spoon when scooping out a serving, but with this little saucepan all I had to do was drain out the excess water and boom, no need for a slotted spoon. Also, this works great for cooking ramen noodles. It’s just big enough for the noodle square and I have the option of pouring out a bit of water without losing any noodles. I also appreciate that the knob and handle don’t get too hot. Easy to wash as well. Love it!

I wasn’t sure if I would like this pan due to how small it is since I usually cook family sized meals but since I got this covered straining saucepan I have been using it surprisingly a lot. This pan is perfect for small batches of noodles, ramen, gravy, vegetables, ect. This pan is lightweight but heavy duty. The handles are nice, dont get hot, and comfortable to handle. Overall love this pan and would prob purchase another if anything happens to this one.

I had the opportunity to try Farberware’s Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan. I am in the kitchen seven days a week, as I enjoy cooking dinner for my family daily and also bake frequently. Farberware brand never seems to disappoint. This 1-Quart covered saucepan features a mirrored stainless steel finish and an aluminum core. The saucepan heats up quickly and evenly on my gas stovetop, and is the perfect size for preparing/heating small sides, such as vegetables, sauces, soup, etc. My favorite feature of Farberware’s Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan is the straining holes in the products lid. The lid is equipped with holes on two sides; one side small drainage holes and the other larger. This feature enables quick and easy one-handed straining, without having to utilize a second appliance (strainer). The handle of this Farberware cookware remains cool throughout the cooking process. Farberware’s Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan is oven safe up to 350 degrees. I highly recommend this product to anybody that is looking for a classic and high-quality piece of cookware for a great value.

This pan is so useful for so many things. Great for a small family. Also great for warming leftovers. There are only two of us and it suits our needs so well. The strainer is great for veggies of all kinds. I usually cook them in a no salt chicken broth rather than butter or salted water since we both have dietary restrictions.

The pan is kind of small but it does the job. I use it for sauces and I also used it for making tea. Which was great because I was able to use the strainer part to pour my drink in my cup with out spilling.

I really like the pour feature in the lid. The pot is much taller than I expected which make pouring more difficult!!! The metal is very thin, unlike my current Farberware pots that are more rugged and heavier (from 30 years ago and going strong!).

Love the petite size more than I expected I to. Used this 1qt saucepan to boil noodles, steam broccoli carrots. Perfect for straining without the hassle of transporting.

This little pot is amazing. I really need a bigger one now. I use this instead of all my other pots just because it saves me time and I have less dishes to wash. It has different size holes and a spout on each side to strain different items. I feel like the water boils faster too. It is really sturdy and I just love it.

Safer from steam as water is poured off. Good size for corn on the cob. Would be nice to have a 2-Quart size.

I use this as a replacement for my “”teapot”” (yes, I make tea in a saucepan, don’t judge!) that had all its nonstick coating get worn off after scrubbing. I like that I don’t have to worry about any coatings or anything coming off since this is stainless steel. I never spill thanks to the pouring lip and the strainer lid is an added bonus. If I had to have a complaint, my only one would be that the handle is kinda flimsy; the handle feels extremely light, like it might be hollow.
