Farberware is a trusted brand of mine and this saucepan did not disappoint. The pan is very well made so I know it will withstand my cooking for a long time. I also enjoy that the lid can be used as a strainer as well.

I use this as a replacement for my “teapot” (yes, I make tea in a saucepan, don’t judge!) that had all its nonstick coating get worn off after scrubbing. I like that I don’t have to worry about any coatings or anything coming off since this is stainless steel. I never spill thanks to the pouring lip and the strainer lid is an added bonus. If I had to have a complaint, my only one would be that the handle is kinda flimsy; the handle feels extremely light, like it might be hollow.

We have been married for over fifty years and I have always used Farberware cookware. It has lasted a long time but I liked the newer style with the pour spouts/drainers. I find that quite handy and quite an improvement.

This is a great utility pot…it has easy dual lips on2 sides for pouring easily and it also has strin hole vents to remove the liquid but keep the rest inside. Aslo a great pot to steam veggies

I love the concept of the saucepan having a strainer built it and I immediately used it to cook frozen corn. I generally add a little water when cooking frozen veggies and use a slotted spoon when scooping out a serving, but with this little saucepan all I had to do was drain out the excess water and boom, no need for a slotted spoon. Also, this works great for cooking ramen noodles. It’s just big enough for the noodle square and I have the option of pouring out a bit of water without losing any noodles. I also appreciate that the knob and handle don’t get too hot. Easy to wash as well. Love it!

I was i introduced to Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan through viewpoints. At first glace i like the quality of the sauce pan and the shiny stainless steel look. Its good quality yet its light to hold which i love because i have and old wrist injury and carrying and handling this saucepan is easy on my wrist. I love to make my own spaghetti and gravey sauces. This pan is perfect for it. My sauces cook evenly and dont stick to the bottom edges like I’ve experienced with other sauce pans. I can keep this pan in the oven up to 350 degrees. Its dishwasher safe and easy to clean If washing by hand. The one thing i love most about this sauce pan is the strainer built in. You just align the sides while holding the lid and tilt to strain. Compared to other brands ive used over the years, this saucepan is more useful and better in quality and i recomend the Farberware brand and will invest in other Faberware products.

The straining feature with its two size openings is useful and the pan size is perfect. Only complaint is the inside pan bottom discolored after the first use.

It is thick and I love the built in strainer in the lid. It seems to heat quickly and looks nice. I have used it several times and really like it. It is not as wide but more tall than most pans which may cause a little problem depending on what type of stove you have. All in all, I would recommend it

This Farberware 1qt straining saucepan is a perfect addition to my cookware. This pan is different than others mainly because of the two lips in the pan that allow for easy pouring and the 2 size holes in the lid of the that allow easy straining without the mess. The stainless steel is high quality and the pan itself is not flimsy or cheap in comparison to other similar brands I have tried. I have had the chance to cook with it several times since I received it and to be honest I don’t know how I managed before without it. This is the go to pan for all of us in my household. It’s perfect for warming up canned soups, veggies and excellent for sauces. I also want to add that it cleans up nicely as well. I have recommended this saucepan to people, I know that my mom purchased it and she loves it as well

Safer from steam as water is poured off. Good size for corn on the cob. Would be nice to have a 2-Quart size.

I really like the pour feature in the lid. The pot is much taller than I expected which make pouring more difficult!!! The metal is very thin, unlike my current Farberware pots that are more rugged and heavier (from 30 years ago and going strong!).
