I love these pans! I have had my original set for over 30 years now and they still work as well as they did when I opened the box. I prefer these pans to any other. They perform well and they are easy to clean. Unlike many nonstick pans, you never have to worry about something unhealthy leaching into your food. Even when my kids burnt foods a couple of times, the pans cleaned very quickly and easily with just a short scouring with a soap pad. I have given Farberware as gifts and received very positive responses. I hope they keep making them!

We received our first Classic Farberware fry pan as a wedding gift in 1969. We still use it, and it looks good! I purchased this set of two for use in a vacation home. I like the fact that the pans do NOT have the non-stick coating. We do have to use a little oil, but the pans clean up well. I soak them in sudsy water and use a non-abrasive scraper, if needed. I do NOT put them in the dishwasher. Also, I need to mention that these pans distribute heat very well, and we NEVER use the high setting on the range.

I bought 2 sets of Faberware Classic Series back in 1980’s. The small set was a 8″ set and the large set was a 10″ set. I love my Faberware stainless steel alluminum pots and pans especially my Frying pans. Unfortunately things do wear out over the years. These pots and pans have many years of cooking dinners on them. They are made a little different from the way are made and look today. They were expensive back then but they were well worth the money. How I wish I had a new set of the old version especially my frying pans. Never had to worry about cookware after I got them. Loved the fact that they have the stainless still lids No Glass tops for me. I miss my fry pans. I love them because they are also stainless still on the inside. No coated lining for me.

I looked everywhere for this kind of skillet and couldn’t believe I found it on the Home Depot site. I’m very pleased because it was sold as a pair, and I got the 8″ and the10″ size for way less than other stores were charging for one.

These are better than I thought they would be, the sides are higher than other pans and the weight is just right. The handles are comfortable and don’t get hot, I purchase the lid and it fits just right and it’s clear so you don’t need to remove it to check the food.

This isn’t a review of a recent purchase because I bought my set of Farberware cookware 46 years ago this summer. And if I had to replace them, I would buy them again in a heartbeat. They still look great and perform perfectly. Even though they are not non-stick, I’ve never had a problem with burned-on food. If something does burn, clean up is easy after a short soak which I have rarely had to do. Someone recommended them when I was getting married and I’m so glad I took their advice!
