This Farberware 3-Piece Assorted Wood Cutting Board Set with Drip Groove includes (1) of each of the following cutting boards: 17.5 in. x 11.5 in., 11.5 in. x 9 in. and 8.75 in. x 6.5 in. The boards are made of farm-grown hardwood, are pre-sealed with food-grade mineral oil to keep them from drying out and feature reversible working surfaces. Each board features a grooved channel that is designed to catch drippings and juices from carved meats. These boards should be hand-washed only with warm water and a mild detergent; rinse and dry immediately.

These are lightweight, inexpensive cutting boards in 3 sizes, each with groove for juice: exactly what I wanted. I have a few expensive cutting boards, but they tend to be heavy and my daily go-tos have been the lighter ones. I’ve even made use of the tiny one for a single fried chicken breast. I thought for sure that would be a throw-away. However they are straight off the wood planes, so 100% agree with a previous reviewer to apply mineral oil.

Love these boards! Within a week, family members had found a perfect use for each board such as cutting or watermelon. We quickly grab the board that is just the right size. They are lightweight so pulling them out of the cabinet is effortless. Caution: The flip side of the cost savings is that the boards need multiple coats of oil because they are dry. Don’t put them in the dishwasher because they might warp.

The sizes are fine and the price was good, but when these cutting boards arrived, they had splinters not sanded down around the board ridges. I had to take a piece of sand paper and finish the job. I was surprised at Farberware as I have had their products before.
