Print your 3D models with the compact FlashForge Adventurer 3 3D Printer.
With a build volume of 5.9 x 5.9 x 5.9", the Adventurer 3 prints your 3D models in an enclosed print area with a removable heated print bed. The single extruder is detachable, utilizes stainless steel tube material, and can heat up to 392°F in approximately 50 seconds. The buckle design of the nozzle supports quick replacement for easy maintenance.
The Adventurer 3 supports a variety of filament types, such as ABS, PLA, Pearl, PLA Color Change, metafilled, wood-filled, and high-speed PLA. It also has a built-in automatic filament feeder with an enclosed built-in filament cartridge.
Print via USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi. You can also print via 3D Cloud, an online platform that has many features, such as cloud management, uploading and storage for 3D print files, and a free model database. There are even social media functions, such as leaving likes and comments. You can navigate the menu with the integrated full-color touchscreen and monitor your current 3D print job with the built-in HD camera.

Worked straight out of the box and has printed reliably for the past 8 months. Extruder Head is a snap to change and the slicing software is easy to navigate.

Excellent printer. Prints ABS phenomenally out of the box! Great printing quality for the price. Good packaging. I used Flashforge’s 1.75mm ABS (0.5 kg). No PLA testing done as I do not plan to use PLA on this machine. Stepper motors are very quiet compared to my other open frame 3D printers. Checkout the 3DBenchy image below! It was sliced using FlashPrint 4.2.0 using the all the default ABS settings at 0.12mm layer height. Only 2 minor cons: 1. The cooling fan for the controller PCB makes a very annoying high pitch noise. I will probably replace it with a quieter one, maybe a Noctua NF-A4x20. 2. The enclose filament compartment is too small for 1kg spools and even Monoprice’s 0.5kg spools do not fit in it. To use non Flashforge’s spools you may need to 3D print an external spool holder, or an extended compartment door, or run it without the door.

I bought this thinking it was a printer that was easier to work with. Thankfully I have owned a 3D printer before which helped me out. The issue I had is that the calibration was way off. When I took a day of frustration to fix the machine. (Make sure to have the extruder smashing down the filament really hard, with the heated plate.) After I fixed the issue it works great. Extremely high quality prints with a nice touchscreen interface.

This is a great 3D printer for the price. There are a few cons to be aware of: – I recommend using 3rd party slicing software (such as Simplify3D) over the FlashPrint software provided by the manufacturer of this printer. The supports and fills generated by FlashPrint aren’t great. You will need FlashPrint to send the models over wifi but can import sliced models from other applications. – There is a high-pitched hum from the PCB fan. It’s not too much of a bother but I do plan on replacing the fan. – When calibrating, you will want to start with the nozzle separated from the platform and slide a thin power in-between each time you increment down until the paper will no longer pass through…then continue down at least one more increment with the nozzle. – The spool compartment fits a proprietary sized spool so you will need an external mount/holder for anything else.

The Printer Is awesome but the filament that came with it was twisted in the middle i printed a lot it all worked but in the middle of the print the twist was actually a tie and it tightened up and would not move until I cut it and undid it
