Not only is this marble pastry board functional it is beautiful and heavy too. Do not drop on a stone floor. It will either crack the marble or possibly your stone. Arrives securely packed. Absolutely gorgeous surface. I really like the rubber feet and rounded corners. Safe to sit on your stone counters. Super easy to clean. I’m not a baker so have been using it as a cutting board. Will last for years if it’s not dropped and makes a lovely centerpiece while entertaining. Great price for genuine marble.

This is a high quality marble board that is meant for rolling out cookie dough, pastry dough, etc. It has a wonderfully smooth surface that, when dusted with flour, works exactly as it is supposed to. One of the other nice features of this board is that it has a set of four feet on the bottom of it which prevents it from sliding on your counter top.It can also serve as a board on which to serve cheese and crackers. It is very attractive and very handy!

Good Look and Material. One of the two boards I ordered sits uneven though.

I’m using the board daily, it’s sturdy & stays in place on account of the 4 rubber anchor deals on each corner. And matches well with black/white kitchen.

Will it damage the board if a hot pot is placed on it?

Lovely!. It is flat, large and perfect board. Use it for making dough and rolling it and does the job beautifully. Also, some time use it as a serving board, add more functional beauty to the dinning table. Every one lines it. The posting could be modified not to slip on the marble table top.

This real marble board is ideal for the home baker. The marble is naturally non-stick and it’s 12 X 16 size is great for kneading or rolling out all kinds of pastry, bread, pie or pizza dough. After use it cleans easily. The marble is beautiful and when not being used the board looks good just sitting on your counter top. When I am not using my board in the kitchen, I use it as part of the center piece on my dining room table.

This board is really nice looking. It is also really heavy!! It seems to be high quality. I haven’t used it yet for baking but it looks amazing. It’s something that you could leave out in your kitchen. Right now I have it on my kitchen cart. It’s like a very functional decoration! I can’t wait to try it for baking too to see if I really do need less flour when using it.

Fox Run 12×16 Marble Board is 100% Marble. The board has non-slip rubber feet on bottom to provide protection for countertops. Not only is it a natural stone, it is the best thing for your doughs, pastries, Cookies and anything that you roll out and tired of it sticking to board. The marble stays cool and looks great to leave out on counter when not in use.

The cutting board part is great, but because one of feet on the board was shorter than the other three, it rocks back and forth when you use it, so that’s kind of annoying.

The board material is good but the stand peices broke

This board is both beautiful and functional, good for all different types of baking or cooking tasks. It is VERY heavy and I do worry about how fragile it might be if I were to every accidentally drop it. My biggest complaint has to do with the rubber feet – the product description says that they are non-slip. Well, that is definitely not the case. The feet are hard and have no give/cushion or even the slightest amount of grip. The only way you can relatively make this “non-slip” is to put a wet towel or rag under the feet. Certainly not a show-stopper, but annoying nonetheless.

I have had my Marble Pastry Board for about a month and I love it. I mostly use it for pie crust, but have also used it for bread dough a few times. It really does keep my dough much cooler than working on a counter. I am also using less flour because it is not sticking to the surface. I have not used it for serving cheese as suggested in the description, but considering how cool it stays I can see it working very well. I love the way it looks on my counter; it stays out 24/7. The only negative is that the rubber feet are slick and do not hold it in place. I like putting a kitchen cloth under mine to catch excess flour and that takes care of the sliding issue. It may be pricey for someone who does not entertain a lot or does not work with pastry often, but for those who do I would say it is worth it.
