I have never had a marble pasty board. I have been busy making buttermilk biscuits & this boards was made for biscuits. Smooth, easy to clean, not a lot of flour to deal with when I’m done. A plastic scraper & a damp sponge is about you need to clean up. It is heavy so it does not slide very easy, & it has 4 pads to help it stay in place. It sits out for my friends to see & I think I sold one, It looks as good as the day I got it, With care this looks like a 100 yr board

It would have been excellent if the feet supports were balanced. The board sits a little wobble.Betsy

I loved them but they were way too heavy…I returned them for fear that I would break them

The size and quality of this pastry board are good. The rubber “feet” on the bottom, however slip and slide on the granite countertop. Will have to figure out a fix.

This is a beautiful solid marble cutting board. Its definitely nice enough to use for serving if you want. The top is a nice polished surface and the edges and corners are rounded off. The bottom is unfinished and has little, non-marking feet. So you can’t use the bottom side, but the feet make it nicer for serving and easier to lift up. It would have been nice to have a little gutter cut around the edge for catching liquid, but the marble boards are more often used for pastries because they stay cool and make it easier to work with dough.

I have wanted a marble board for rolling out dough for years, but so many I found were just too small. This board is large and heavy! The board was well packed, and in perfect condition. I was so excited to receive it, I made homemade pizza that night. Kneading and rolling out the dough was a dream. The cool, smooth surface kept the dough from sticking to the surface, and also made clean up easier. One annoying little issue I have is that the bottom protective feet are not completely level, so the the board teeters back and forth as I am rolling out dough. Aside from that, I love this board, and recommend it.

The marble is beautiful. Nice and thick so you don’t have to worry about breaking. Four rubber feat are glued to the bottom to raise it off the surface. It’s a marble cutting board, so no moving parts or assembly. The biggest draw back is it’s weight. Very heavy to pick up and move around. So the best way we have enjoyed it, is to leave it out on the counter top for everyday use. If you want to store it, watch out,the size was bigger than most of our cabinet shelves, so storage can be an issue.

16 x 20 Marble Pastries and Dough BoardThis beautiful example of old world craftsmanship quickly became a centerpiece of attention in our country style kitchen. We leave it out on the kitchen island and everyone coming in to visit goes up to touch it. It’s literally like a people magnet. The natural contrasting colors and grain structure of the marble are very appealing to the eye (as you can see in the photo attached) and rolling out pizza dough or pie crust is the easiest and most failsafe I have ever tried. And you don’t need handfuls of flour that require a bunch of clean up later–just a bit sometimes.Very happy with is impulse product.

This was a gift for my mom, however, she wanted it as a cutting board and she can’t use it so it was returned. It’s a very nice board if you do pastries.
