The Freeman P4WWS Pneumatic Professional Woodworker Special with Nails (4-Piece) is very useful for DIYers at home as well as construction contractors at the job site. This kit contains an 18-Gauge 2 in. Brad Nailer with Quick Jam Release (PBR50Q), and a 23-Gauge 1 in. Micro Pin Nailer (PP123). The Brad Nailer is ideal for trim work, door and window casing, chair rails, cabinetry, furniture and picture frame assembly. This air powered nail gun features a quick jam release for easy access clearing in the event of a jammed fastener. The depth of the fasteners is adjustable by turning a wheel near the trigger, further increasing productivity and reducing downtime. An anodized aluminum cylinder and magazine, ergonomically engineered body, and comfort grip handle result in a balanced tool great for use over long shifts that will stand the test of time. The no mar safety tip and oil-free design ensure professional results. The Micro Pinner is specifically designed for finish applications such as detailed trim, glazing strips, jewelry cases, picture frames, along with hobbies and crafts. The headless micro pin nails it drives into even dense wood leave a nearly invisible hole. A comfort grip handle on this lightweight nail gun reduces fatigue while increasing control and accuracy. The Pneumatic Professional Woodworker Special (4-Piece) includes nails for each tool so you can get right to work, and is covered by Freeman’s 7-Year Limited Warranty and 90-Day Wearable Parts Warranty.

I found the nailers to be easy to use and like magic! I did find the smaller nailer stopped after 4-5 nails. I was able to check the grove and found a bent nail. I took that out and it has worked flawlessly since. I keep planning projects just so I can use them! Love them!

After countless hours of drilling pilot holes, banging in finishing nails, sinking them and then filling the holes with putty and then having to sand them….while replacing my house of baseboards……I got fed up.I invested in this 2 piece set and should be nailing myself in the brain for not doing this earlier. These things rock. Load, Lock and pull the trigger. It’s just so simple. The 2 units allow me to vary the nail size and depth and heck…I might even rip it all up and out just so I can do it again. These 2 units make it just that easy.

Very impressed by the value of these nailers, especially given their price tag. First time for me using air tools, which in my case means I had very high expectations in spite of wanting to spend little money.Found this brad nailer + pinner combo on sale for $60, which would be fairly cheap even for just a brad nailer. Instead, for that price I got brad nailer, pinner, and a few bucks’ worth of 1.5″ brads and 1″ pins. These tools run oil-less, but they do recommend adding 2-3 drops of oil every now and then to prolong their life. A tiny, half-full oil bottle with a built-in reversible straw is included in the package, and 2-3 drops at a time, it should last years. This kit includes a fabric bag which unfortunately seems barely tall enough to fit the brad nailer. There’s a little pocket on the side to keep all the extra objects (brads, oil) that came with the tool combo. Both tools have a decent heft to them; they don’t feel too light and cheap, and I did not get tired after using the nailer for about 30 minutes. My impressions about using the brad nailer are probably not very helpful since I’ve never used one before; at any rate, out of ~150 2″ brads I shot on my first use, I had to bang in 5 or so, because I could see and feel the heads stick out of the surface of the work piece. Makes me wonder if the included brads are 1.5″ because that’s easier for the nailer to drive in. In any case, the nailer still seems to have enough power to manage to completely fold a nail I accidentally shot against a hidden screw. Nailer had no problem operating after that, but I smelled burnt metal from the nail and screw for a minute or so.The nailer is adjustable in drive depth, but testing with 2″ brads I could not tell the difference between the two extremes for the setting. Maybe I should’ve used the included 1.5″ brads. As for the pinner, I don’t really have a use for it yet, but I tested it on a piece of SPF stud, and it shot 1″ pins through that with no effort at all and no touch-ups needed. Most of the pins caused sparking upon contact with the work piece, not sure why; if anything, it might mean that the included pins are cheap, which is okay given the total price of the combo.

This tool works as good, if not better, than the company pin nailer that is owned by the company I work for. It fits comfortably in my hand and operates easily in tight places. I would recommend this tool to professionals and hobby woodworkers.

Was an awesome nailer. Worked great.Easy to use

The pinner and brad gun work very well with no complaints and jamming whatsoever. However I had to remove the adapter from the brad gun on the compressor and put it on the Freeman guns as the latter did not fit the quick connect. Needless to say this is a major nuisance. No word back from Freeman
