Nice hardwood flooring nailer and multi cutting tool. The Nailer works as advertised and has a nice feel to it. It does use a decent amount of compressed air vs some of my pneumatic nailers but its no issue for a decent 2-4 gallon compressor. The Multi tool is similar to a common oscillating tool that many companies have out. I was not to impressed since I do own a higher end one of a different brand. It does work but its very noisy and a lot of vibration does get transferred to the user. I do like that it does use the universal cutters so they are easy to source and replace. overall this is a great intermediate kit.

This Freeman Hardwood Flooring installation kit comes with everything you need to install hardwood flooring. The only things you need to have is a compressor and staples/cleats.Years ago, I had hardwood flooring in my old house and I really liked the look of it. Laminate is okay, but solid hardwood can’t be beat. It does take special tools and skills to install a solid hardwood floor. I recommend watching as many videos as you can, before attacking the job. This Combo Kit comes with a pneumatic nailer, oscillating tool with blades and a soft face hammer – all in a nice storage bag.The nailer is easy to load, has a nice composite material handle (lighter than other tools out there), works with either cleats or staples and has a nice soft face, so it doesn’t scratch the flooring. We did a small room (10×12 bedroom) and the nailer worked perfectly. No jams. They say that there is an easy way to remove jams, but we didn’t have to use it. The hammer works great for putting the boards in place and to hit the nailer to set the nail. The hammer has good weight and a large face. The oscillating tool is great for cutting door casing flush with the floor and to remove glue from the old sub flooring. The kit comes with blades to cut, scrape and sand, so you don’t have to buy additional blades.I recommend using cleats vs staples. The cleats hold the boards better and have less chance of splitting the wood. I recommend using a good quality, name brand fastener, since cheap no-name fasteners are not as consistent and have a much higher chance of jamming. This is an awesome hardwood flooring installation kit! I highly recommend it!

I own other Freeman nailers and even a compressor from them and have always been pleased. They are the exact blend of quality with a great price. This 2n1 flooring nailer combo kit is right up there with the rest of their tools and is great for 1/2 in., 5/8 in. and 3/4 in. solid hardwood flooring.Out of the box the tools are ready to go. Just attach your cutting head to the oscillating tool and load your preferred fasteners into the nailer. They even include the rubber tipped hammer to actuate it.To make things even easier they give you 2 base/shoe plates for 1/2 in. to 3/4 in. flooringThis nailer will drive 16-Gauge T and L cleats or 15.5-Gauge flooring staples from 1-1/2 in. to 2 in. in length.Operation is simple. Load the nailer and strike the actuation head to trigger your fasteners. It sinks them perfect each time. Adjust your air pressure to get the perfect sink you need depending on the nails or flooring you are using.I was able to do a nice entry way strip of wood flooring nice and fast with this nailer. It made the job so much easier than the old method. I love this nailer.I didn’t have to use the oscillating tool much, but it has a variable speed dial and feels good in the hand. I’ve used it to scrape the floor clean and open up the corner molding near the door a tiny bit and it worked fine. Given that this nailer has a 7 year warranty, I know it will last me a long time, just like my other Freeman tools have. My friend already wants to borrow it for his kitchen floor.

The drill was pretty easy to use. It was not as stable as I would have hoped but I got used to it. The multi cutter that came with it sealed the deal though. Great for door frames.

Have been using nailer for a week @ have not had any issues to speak of. No jams at all. The multi cutter works just as good. The cutting blade that comes with package is far from superior. All @ all a very good product for the price.

Very easy to use. Worked flawlessly for installing 800 sq. ft of new 3/4″ solid oak flooring. The multi-tool is an absolute necessity for trimming around door casings. Excellent product!

This is a great product. I used it to put down 245 square feet of hardwood (2 1/4 inch planks) and only had 2 jams, but the multi tool could come with beter blades.it worked great also, but i had to buy a better cutting blade for it.
