The Freeman PCN65 Pneumatic 15° 2-1/2 in. Coil Siding Nailer is designed for working on siding, cedar shingles, roof and wall sheathing, and wood fencing, and is compatible with 15° plastic collated coil siding nails from 1-1/4 in. to 2-1/2 in., and 15° wire collated coil siding nails from 1-3/4 in. to 2-1/2 in. (diameter 0.09 in. to 0.113 in.). The nails load from the side for efficiency. The body of the oil-free nail gun is made of lightweight and rugged die cast magnesium, creating a low maintenance tool great for use over long shifts. A one piece hardened steel drive blade and an anodized aluminum cylinder add to the durability. The siding nailer’s bump fire trigger drives nails with precision and a safety lock prevents accidental firing. The tool-free finger depth adjust provides fast and easy control of the depth of the nails, while the comfort grip handle reduces fatigue and increases accuracy. A no mar safety tip prevents damaging your working surfaces. This air powered nail gun also contains a 360° adjustable exhaust to direct air away from your face, and an air filter / anti-dust cap to keep internal components free from dust and debris. A belt hook, safety goggles, air connector, air tool oil, and adjustment tools are included. The Pneumatic 15° 2-1/2 in. The nailer is easy to use, a little heavier than I had expected. By and large it does a good job. The only real problem I have with it is that the nails don’t stay in place, and I have to keep stopping to reload it, particularly at the end of the coil.

the plate that nails sit on won’t stay flat . it lets the nails fall and wont shoot till opened up and reset . don’t like the hanger bar , seems to always be in the way . other wise it works fine .

The nail gun works pretty well aside from a couple quirks. The rafter clip is large and ungainly but it is moved out of the way easily enough. The paint/finish doesn’t last well. I’m one and a half boxes of nails into ownership and the gun looks rough! Similar to other nail guns I have that are several years old. The depth adjustment feels cheapish but works. The rest of the tool feels good in your hands, the grip and trigger especially. It does the job at a fraction of the cost of the big name tools. I’d buy it again.

The nail gun has preformed flawlessly. We finished siding the house with this gun and it had 2 jams which were easy to resolve. It has shot about a box of nails during the siding process. I have had the gun about 2 weeks which we used daily but as of today it can rest as we finished the job. The nail gun is easy to load and use. The only thing I do not like it does not have a single fire switch, it only has bump fire or pull the trigger for each shot which in turn gets a few double taps (2 nails in one spot). For the price this nail gun exceeds expectations and if I was working a big crew I would have several on these to work with. The belt hanger that comes with the gun is great and the exhaust air direction is a good feature on this product. The old wore out gun we were using would shoot about 2/3 of a roll of nails and then start to jam. We had 5 rolls of nails that had 1/3 of the roll left and we loaded these partial rolls in the new gun and used them first before switching to full rolls. This gun handled the partial rolls of nails without a jam. I love this gun.
