Used it to install bamboo flooring and was easy to use.

The flooring nailer jammed after ever eight-ten strikes; I read the troubleshooting in the manual that came with, it and it mentioned alignment. As I was removing the hex bolt to align correctly, it the bolt broke…strange for that to happen maybe too much lock-tight. I had to tap-out the bolt and use an aftermarket. Please send a replacement part, thank you.

After much research into 18g floor nailers I chose this product based upon price, reviews, warranty and that I could get it through Home Depot. Fast delivery and the tool worked great. I put down 450 sq. ft. of bamboo with no problems or misfires. Next project, 1000 sq. ft. of hardwood. Bring it on!

The first nailer arrived with a leak but fired well. Called Freeman 800 number they sent a replacement (new) right away with a return label included for shipping defective one back to them-free shipping both ways as it should. The new gun arrived in 3 days. Did not jam once though only fired 150 so far. The depth of cleat depends on both air pressure and hammering force. After a few firing and adjustments, the nailing was neat and consistent. Freeman’s customer service was really excellent. 5 stars! Don’t return to store as indicated in a card within the package–Call Freeman instead if there is any issue.

Laid over 625 sq ft of 3/4″ flooring. The gun didn’t jam once and worked great over the whole project. Much less expensive than renting over a two day job.

Works like a champ! We are almost finished laying around 1500 sq ft of 3/4” solid oak and it has done fantastic. Ampro has the best price on cleats for this. Gun has only jammed if hit too soft or double shot, but was an easy fix. Best price for a new gun this size on the market!

This flooring nailer worked perfect on my 3/8 engineered plywood flooring.

Just installed over 400 sq ft of 1/2″ engineered wood with this nailer, and I think I only had 1 jam. Bottom adjustment for flooring height is a bit tricky – didn’t follow the given mark. Also don’t go too far with that adjustment, as it will mess up removal of 2 of the bolts for the base plate (when you have a jam)

The nailer gave me no problems at all after installing nearly 1000 sq ft of 4.5″flooring. It didn’t jam once. Very pleased with it.

Although I lack experience , this nailer did the job for my 1/2 ” bamboo hardwood flooring. I am happy with it and my work

So far I’m really pleased the this tool, it has worked flawlessly with the 1 3/4 inch cleats. The one thing that I would mention is that if you are putting down a thick (3/4 inch) floor with a thicker underlayment you may want to consider a nailer that will do 2″ cleats.

We used this nailer to put down a 1/2 inch engineered floor, 650 sq ft.Worked perfectly. Best pressure for this floor was 75 psi with a light swing.took about 10 practice nails to get pressure and swing right.

I ordered 2000 sq. ft. of solid bamboo, and though I only intend to install a small portion during the first stage of remodel, I didn’t want to rent a nailer. I found this nailer online at what seemed to be a very good price, and after reading the reviews, decided to take the chance. It arrived exactly on time, and it included extra pads so that the nailer can accommodate all flooring thicknesses. The instructions were sufficient for someone who has never used a nailer before. I installed 180 sq. ft. of flooring without a single issue, misfire, or jam.

The foot plate was warped so we had to heat it up and luckily get it flat enough to use

After reading reviews of the various 18g flooring nailers, I decided to purchase this nailer to install 500 sq ft of Brazilian teak. Nailer worked flawlessly through 6000+ cleats shot into the flooring tongues. This nailer is well constructed and can be used for a variety of flooring types. This nailer consistently set the cleats properly, and no mis-fires or jammed nails. A few drops of oil before each session, and you’re set to install some flooring. One of the few tools I have purchased that includes a seven year warranty!

The nailer worked well however it is a bit unsafe. Whenever it fell over a nail would shoot out. I found two sticking out of the wall and took a nail to my arm. Though nobody was hurt, this definitely has the potential to cause serious harm.
