Good purchase. Worked well. Was exactly as described.

Picked one up on clearance. The following week happened to get a job installing hardwood. Compressor at 100 psi and had no problem sinking L-cleats into solid hickory. Not one jamb.

I used this nailer to install 450 square feet of oak and it worked flawlessly. It never jammed and countersunk all of the nails well. When I bought it it was on sale for $20.00 less than the normal price.

Easy to change out cleats to staples. However I don’t like the staple size required for the gun as they are too thick for engineered floor planks. I found they splinter and blow out the tongue. So I ended up using the cleats for that as well because the gauge is smaller.

I should preface this by saying this is the only floor nailer I’ve ever used, so I can’t really make an informed comparison, but I can say that it worked great for installing about 350 square feet of pre-finished 3/4 in x 2 1/4 in solid oak floors. I used two boxes (2,000 nails) of Bostich 2″ L-cleats and didn’t have any issues or misfires over 4 days of use. Sliding the nailer around during installation did not scratch the finish of my new floors at all.The only problems were occasional user error by me not squarely striking the plunger, which results in nails that aren’t all the way in. But again, that’s user error. I used my 16-gauge finish nailer for the first few rows near the wall where the Freeman doesn’t fit, and the Freeman does a much better job securing the floor. It was absolutely worth the money.

I am installing hardwood flooring in three bedrooms and a hallway. The cost of renting a nailer is $35-$40 dollars a day, it made sense to purchase this nailer. After reading reviews here and on Amazon, I decided to decided on this model. I am about half way through with my project and the nailer has not misfired once. The nailer is very easy to load and use. I am using Bostitch 2″ L cleats. Love the case, many more expensive nailers do not come with one. I am very happy with my purchase.

It worked as advertised. Bought for a 400 sq ft project versus dealing with the logistics of renting a tool. Worked perfect for this project.

Came assembled out of the box. All I had to do was put a few drops of oil and connect the pressure hose and use it. Did about 140 sqft – No jambs – two times the staple was twisted due to a nail on the subfloor. I did use slightly higher pressure – although the minimum recommended is 70 psi..I was consistently between 90 and 110 psi.It worked great – I only wish the base plate was a little longer – perhaps an inch and an inch wider. The way I use it is to put my toe on the base plate for tight fit and strike with the mallet. I felt the slightly longer and wider plate may give a better way to hold the nailer – because of the pneumatic cylinder’s weight the tool has more weight forward so when you position it on the tongue it tends to tilt forward.I have used a borrowed Bostitch tool before and this one was as good for less than half the price.

Easy to operate and the directions are excellent and easy to understand which is increasingly rare. The machine itself is awesome and robust.

Installed over 600 square feet of 3/4 inch hardwood flooring. Used Bostich 2” staples. Fired little over 1,000 staple with only two times firing 2 staples. Didn’t cause any issues with installation or floor nailer. Never missed a beat. Would definitely recommend for the price and quality of nailer.

The gun was really easy to use. It tightened our wood floor down solid, without any scratches like you would have using hammer and nails. I also liked that it was all together in a carrying case. Great purchase!

The floor nailerer worked great, only jammed once but only because I didn’t hit the plunger correctly. It only took me 5 minutes to unscrew the two allen bolts and remove nail and put back together. This was only putting down 100 sq feet of 3/4 inch solid wood. I have much more to do soon, but very happy with the nailer so far, and confident that it will continue to do well. Good buy for sure, nice case too.

Just used to put down 400 sq ft of bamboo. Have another 200 to go. Only misfires (not driven in completely flush) were due to me not hitting solidly. No jams at all. Used bostich L-cleats with a Porter pancake compressor. Bamboo went down easily with pressure at 80 lbs. With price of less than $200 with hard case much better for me than renting as I am redoing a house room by room.Only issue I had was no base for 5/8″ flooring. Only 1/2″ and 3/4″. I used 1/2″ with washers as spacers. I have not used industry standard Bostich so cant make comparison, but this is perfect for my occasional use.I found putting down hardwood (bamboo) not much harder than laminate and I believe solid hardwood adds much more value to a home than laminate or engineered hardwood.

I bought Freeman 3 in 1 floor nailer to install 1400 square ft red oak hard wood. Not once the nailer jammed or mis- fire. I highly recommend this nailer.

Have completed 200 sq ft of my 900 sq ft project and has been great. Driving 2″ cleats through 3/4″ thick 2-1/4″ plank maple.

Worked like a charm!

Used the nailer to do 800 square feet and it worked perfectly. Not one problem. Would highly recommend it

Installed almost 800 sq ft of engineering flooring. Easy to use, with no issues. Only had 1 bad staple insralled which was fault of the staple, broke in half. Highly recommend as you can install 1/2, 5/8 or 3/4″ flooring. Price is right and you can’t rent one for cheaper. I do a lot of renos and will be doing a lot of floors in future, will be used a lot

Did my whole main level and loft about 1500 square feet and it never skipped a beat! Well worth it!
