The Freeman 3 in 1 is a great floor nailer and easy to use compared to the Bostich and other high dollars ones I’ve used some have a second grove where the shoe meets the tongue and if your not careful, the cleat hits in the middle of the board and you have to tear the board out, very frustrating.I took the gun out of the box and made sure the adapter plate was tight, put 10 drops of oil in it and loaded my cleats and away I went,I put down 750 square feet of Brazilian Cherry and used about 3500 cleats yes three thousand five hundred and I oiled the gun about every 200 cleats,I set my compressor at 100 psi and not 1 jam up,the gun worked flawless. I have not tried staples or T cleats but the L’s work fine.I would defiantly recommend this nailer to any home owner or professional contractor.Thank you Freeman and Home Depot !!!!

Working great !! No issues so far.

Not bad for the price. I have used very expensive nailers and this one is not any where close to that good. It works just fine if you go slow and be careful. I used it for a pantry and closet and it worked well.

I bought this to install approx. 1100 Sq. Ft of hickory hardwood flooring in my new home and it worked flawlessly. Purchasing this one was much cheaper than what it would have cost me to rent one for a month from a rental house. It comes with the mallet to fire the gun, another shoe for use with 1/2″ thick engineered hardwood and a nice storage case. This came fully assembled and ready to use. All I needed to do was load the cleats and put a few drops of oil in the air inlet.I shot nearly 4000 cleats with this gun and had zero misfires or jams. Even in the very hard hickory, it sets the fasteners properly and uses surprisingly very little air for the power it packs. This is a well built, good looking tool; the fit and finish of everything is top notch and that’s important to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one even if I was a professional flooring installer. For the price, you could buy 3 of these with the money you’d spend on a big name one.

Have installed oak flooring in two rooms so far and not one single jam or misfire. Seems to do a great job for the price.

This Air Nailer works GREAT. I personally prefer the nails / staples with a 90-degree head as they seem to hold and pull the hardwood flooring tighter to the sub-floor, but that is just my preference. Nailer works flawlessly and has not jammed or misfired at all. Don’t be afraid to hit the button with the mallet, it seems to do its best job with a firm strike. I have had the Nailer for about a month so far and I used it to install 1,000 SF of 3/4in Hardwood. Love the product.

The Freeman floor stapler worked great. Installed 300 sq ft of hardwood and not a single misfire or jamb. I would recommend this tool for any diy home project.

I have used this to put in over 700 sqf of hardwood and never had one miss-fire. I would recommend this to everyone. Only fault I had with this item was the fact that there should be a better way to see that you are running out of staples.

I’ve down crown molding for years this is my first wood flooring project using 3/4 prefinished oaks. This is very easy to use, easy to load, no jamming, no misfires, etc. Buy extra bottle of air tool oil to save time. I even called their 800 tech line to clarify an issue and they were like talking to a friend. There is no need to buy, at least for me, a product that costs twice as much although their name is reputable.

Excellent tool, I was little wary in the beginning since I’m a novice DIYer but the tool handled floor nailing like ‘it nailed it’. Highly recommend this tool over Bositech.

I am using the nailer as I’m writing this review. The nailer has been good. I haven’t experienced any problems yet. It drives in the 1 3/4 cleats no problem. You don’t even have to have lots of force either. My wife has been nailing most of the boards because it’s so effortless.

excellent floor tool.

This floornailer has worked surprisingly well for its low cost.Ii was able to lay 800 square feet of 1 1/2 in. oak flooring with no jambs (except for when I hit a screw in the subfloor). I would recommend this product to any body installing 3/4 inch hardwood. I cannot see the need to purchase the competitor’s high price model. excellent tool!!!!!

Finished 450 sq ft bamboo install today. Over 2000 t nails not a single issue. Oiled at the start to both days. Overall i was impressed. Ill probably use this 2-3 times per year, if i did hardwood install on a more common basis i would step up to a “better” nailer, though this performed flawlessly. If nothing else it paid for itself considering what a rental would of run so ill see how it does in the future.

So far it has worked flawlessly… not a single misfire. I put a drop or two of tool oil in the air inlet each morning as the instructions say, and have not been let down.

Not a single jam have ran through over 2000 2” nails on 3/4” Hickory. (I used bostich nails)

I’ve gone through about 3000 L cleats so far without a problem through red oak. Best hardwood flooring nailer I could find for the money!
