The Freeman PFR3490 Pneumatic 34° 3-1/2 in. Clipped Head Framing Nailer can handle any project involving framing, subfloors, roof decking, fencing and more. This air powered nail gun is compatible with 10-Gauge 34° paper collated clipped head framing nails from 2 in. to 3-1/2 in., and is capable of sequential or bump firing. Features of this durable nailer include a 1-piece drive blade made of hardened steel, Teflon O-rings, an anti-dry-firing mechanism, an anodized aluminum magazine and cylinder, an oil-free design, and 360° adjustable exhaust. An easy to use 2 finger depth adjustment dial allows for quick adjustments to nail depth on any project, with no tools involved. This framing nailer features a magnesium constructed body to reduce weight, resulting in less fatigue while you use it. The no-mar tip, which is removable to expose “teeth” for toe nailing, will prevent damage to a work surface. A belt hook, air tool oil, and adjustment tools are included. The Pneumatic 34° 3-1/2 in. I’ve only used this nail gun for a few days now on an outdoor bathroom I constructed but it worked like a champ; no issues whatsoever. It’s pretty lightweight which is a real benefit with any tool, and it seems real rugged and well built. It holds a normal amount of nail clips, but I wish someone would offer a longer clip tray so I wouldn’t have to refill the nails so often. The 34 degree angle is great for getting into tight places like toenailing; I removed the rubber tip so it’s easier to toenail. All in all a great product at a very competitive price. Highly recommended.
