Easy to reload — a little heavy but it’s a heavy duty machine!

Only used it one time, but I can’t imagine installing a fence without it. Worked great!

Homedepot does not carry staples for this gun. These staples are very hard to find.

WE INSTALLED ABOUT 3200 FEET OF DEER FENCING AND USED 1500 STAPLES WITH LESS THAN A 1/2 DOZEN GUN PROBLEMS VERY GOOD TOOL

My deciding factor to purchase this particular stapler was the cost and the warranty versus the higher priced competitor.I have roughly 14 acres and fencing approximately 10 acres of this. I have drove approximately 800+ fence posts and have about half completely fenced with 4 strands of barb wire. So, about 400 posts and 4 staples per post = 1600+ staples. (1.75″)So far this stapler has been worth it’s weight in gold. Not even 1 jam, misfire or adjustment has been needed. Using 80 PSI and works flawlessly. Literally took it out of the box, loaded it and used it all day. The second day, I put a couple drops of oil in the connector and went back to work again for a second day.I have friends and family in the farm business and I will be highly recommending this stapler. It’s a tad heavy but a small price to pay for quality versus hand nailing and sore thumbs.I have a high quality 12 volt air compressor mounted to a 2 gallon tank with a regulator set at 80 PSI and haven’t had an issue and will send a 1.75″ galvanized staple home. Curious to try the 2″.

I was very pleased with the fencing stapler, and glad I bought it! I put up 365′ of fence using a hoist to stretch, then stapled with the new stapler, which took a lot of work, time, effort and frustration out of the job.

I purchased the Freeman 9 gage staple gun to attach 12 gauge wire fence to 4″ by 6″ treated wooden fence posts. The staple gun is very powerful and makes easy work out of this job.To date, in shooting over 400 staples there was no jamming or other malfunctions. The gun is not as heavy as it looks, but is a little awkward to hold in a horizontal position to place the staples the way I wanted. The only problem I encountered it that you have to have very sound wood to shoot into, or the power of the staples will split it. And do not shoot too close to the edge of any wood or it will split. Even when shooting into sound 2 by 4’s you must stagger the staples, because in a straight line the staples will split the board. This staple gun made easy work for a job that by hand would have taken me many hours, and certainly cost me a sore thumb. The staples themselves seem to be back ordered at most places I checked with, so I ordered them first before I bought the staple gun. For me this tool was a good investment.

I have a RIDGID 6 Gal. Pancake Compressor. 2.6 cfm@90 psi and I was concered it would not work with this gun. First staple was driven so hard it was below the surface of the board. The second was perfect. See photo.

The product is good, but it is very difficult to find staples that you can actually use. The do not sell them at Home Depot, had to go to the product manufacturer to get a list of places to purchase staples that will work. They gave 2 websites to find the staples. 1 of the websites is from out of the USA,

This Fencing Stapler was easy to use and ready to go right out of the box. It cut my fence building time in half. Wouldn’t want to build another field fence without it. Well worth the money!

The gun worked fine when stapling vertically, but it was hard for me to handle and line up properly on horizontal wires (which is the primary wire for me to staple). As a result of this difficulty, the gun often fired high, missing the wire completely. I ended up returning the stapler and hammering in staples on 1,400 feet of wire.

This has been such an addition to my air tools. It is so much easier than a hammer. it now takes longer to set, stretch and place the barbed wire than it does to nail it. Staples a 1/4 mile of 4 wire on 12 foot spaced posts in under 50 minutes. WOW fencing has never been so much fun.
