The Freeman PFS9 Pneumatic 9-Gauge 2 in. Fencing Stapler with Case is an ideal tool for DIYers and professional contractors for the installation of field fencing, horse and deer fencing, heavy mesh fencing, chain link fencing, and securing any other heavy wire. This air powered staple gun is compatible with 9-Gauge glue or paper collated fencing staples from 1-1/2 in. to 2 in. (excluding DeWalt). The convenient top load magazine is easy to reload, avoiding delays at the job site. Another great time-saving feature is the quick release nose for easy clearing of jams in the event of jammed staples. A 1-piece drive blade, and anodized aluminum cylinder and magazine provide long-lasting durability. This fencing stapler has an ergonomically engineered aluminum body, resulting in a lightweight and rugged tool great for extended use. A blow molded plastic carrying case, safety goggles, air tool oil, and adjustment tools are included. The Pneumatic 9-Gauge 2 in. I got this to help out a friend who has a small property that needed many repairs. We were redoing a fence the old fashion way at first but that was taking forever and so I decided to give this fencing stapler a try. Works great right out of the box and cut our work time on repairing the fence in half. It took a few tries to get the hang of the machine (I’ve never used one before), but things went smoothly after we learned how to us it properly.

My deciding factor to purchase this particular stapler was the cost and the warranty versus the higher priced competitor.I have roughly 14 acres and fencing approximately 10 acres of this. I have drove approximately 800+ fence posts and have about half completely fenced with 4 strands of barb wire. So, about 400 posts and 4 staples per post = 1600+ staples. (1.75″)So far this stapler has been worth it’s weight in gold. Not even 1 jam, misfire or adjustment has been needed. Using 80 PSI and works flawlessly. Literally took it out of the box, loaded it and used it all day. The second day, I put a couple drops of oil in the connector and went back to work again for a second day.I have friends and family in the farm business and I will be highly recommending this stapler.It’s a tad heavy but a small price to pay for quality versus hand nailing and sore thumbs.I have a high quality 12 volt air compressor mounted to a 2 gallon tank with a regulator set at 80 PSI and haven’t had an issue and will send a 1.75″ galvanized staple home. Curious to try the 2″.
