The Freeman PSSCP Pneumatic 3 in. Single Pin Concrete Nailer with Case is the safer, pneumatic alternative to powder actuated concrete tools for basement renovations, garage updates, or new construction framing. Simply connect the concrete nailer to your air compressor, load a concrete drive pin into the nose of the gun, and pull the trigger to drive pins up to 10 times faster than with conventional powder tools. This air powered nail gun shoots single pins without needing to pre-drill holes, and is compatible with concrete pins from 3/4 in. to 3 in. Firing into green concrete (concrete that was poured less than 25 days ago, in most climates) is ideal when firing longer pins and will provide the best results for plywood to concrete nailing, wire lathe installation, steel banding, decking, fencing, subflooring and more. The body of the nailer is constructed of lightweight and rugged magnesium to reduce operator fatigue and features 360 degree adjustable exhaust, an air filter / anti-dust cap, ergonomic handle, and a blow molded case for easy transport and storage. The Pneumatic 3 in. Single Pin Concrete Nailer with Case is covered by Freeman’s 7 Year Limited Warranty and 90 Day Wearable Parts Warranty.

This is my only experience using a pneumatic pin nailer. It works well as per product description. My compressor exceeds minimum psi requirement for the nailer so it is being used within reccomended psi range for good performance. Haven’t had any jams or other issues.

I had this older powder concrete pin driver which gave me fits. Time to replace it and tried this air pin nailer. Pleasantly surprised at the performance. Works with Ramset, Hilti and generic concrete pins from 3/4 in. to 3 in. I use the shorter pins for metal studs and longer pins for 2×4. For furring strips I use mid size pins. It works significantly better than powder nailers. Tool is surprisingly light weight! Comes with oil which I use with my automatic nailer. When pinning many of the same items I only wish this was more than a single pin nailer. 7 year warranty!

I am in the process of framing some rooms in my basement. My house was built in 1965, so the concrete is quite hard because the older concrete gets, the harder it gets. Drilling into it and using anchor screws is a long grueling chore. So i got this gun and some 2 ½ inch ramset nails. I hooked it up to my 3 gallon air compressor set around 100psi. I put a nail in the nose and fired it through a base plate and into the concrete floor. On the first shot it got it into the concrete but still left about ¾ inch of the nail sticking out. I put the gun back over the ¾ inch and fired again. That time it got it all the way in. I shot about a dozen nails last night framing a closet. Most of them took two shots to get completely in. Some took three. That’s about as good as can be expected. If you have new concrete I expect it will go in much smoother, and only take a single shot. I have used powder actuated concrete nailers before. I found this to be just as effective as they were. The big advantage being that this runs off an air compressor and doesn’t require you to buy the powder loads.

The ” PNEUMATIC SINGLE PIN 0-DEGREE CONCRETE NAILER” is a good nailer. It is pretty easy to use but loading is kind of a pain. The one at a time routine will not work in a standard construction site. for your every day DIYer it is fine. It is powerful and feels sturdy in your hand. It is heavy and not something I would want to use all day long. The nails went thru plywood and concrete pretty easy as long as you have the right nail for the job.
