These cut very well through wood and fit my Fientool perfectly. No luck on nails but, for the price, they do a great job. Just keep a different blade for cutting nails.

The Freeman Precise Point multi-tool Replacement Blades are a very good value for the DIYer and occasional large scope job. I have used my multi-tool for almost 10 years now – two bathrooms, a garage, a kitchen and countless other projects so I have a fair amount of experience burning through blades. These are the most economical blades I have ever used and as such compare favorably to store brand, economy lines and on-line products from China and other far away places. I ordered them as back-up (and loaner) blades for my tried and true Bosch’s. How long a blade lasts depends on several factors including user force, heat build up, wood density and most importantly the number of nails encountered. I have found that I get almost 10 minutes of non-stop in use in soft wood trim before a combination of all of the above renders the these worn out. While not top of the line from a durability standpoint they are the best value I have ever encountered at a around $2 per blade and for what its worth they will fit in most multi-tools out there. From a cost per use standpoint they can’t be beat.

I use my Ryobi Job Tool for many things and I love it. The problem is that I wear blades out because I use it so much, and on so many varied applications from wood to metal. I built a new door for my barn, but the frame was warped and the door didn’t open smoothly. Nails too close to the part that needed shaved off so a plane was out of the question. Get out the Ryobi Job Tool with a blade that would do metal as well as wood. Fixed. These blades fit my Ryobi Job Tool without any adapter.

These straight blades are fabricated with a pattern which is a generic fit for most oscillating tools. I can vouch for their perfect fit on a Ridgid Job-Max. They have sides that do not taper like some others so making plunge or insert cuts is tricky. They are made from tempered metal and are very thin with a narrow tooth offset. This design provides low kerf but may tend to load and burn if forced. They are great for cutting drywall, wood, and plastics. An occasional nail or soft metal strike does not immediately ruin it. The cost of this 5 pack is very reasonable and includes a nice storage case.
