Not all surge protectors are created equally. Most are just power strips misidentified as surge protectors, but are a strip of electrical sockets. If your equipment is worth protecting, why would you use a fake, cheap substitute?

I’m slightly distrusting of power strips so I have furman’s pretty much everywhere. This one is solid. If you have a lot of transformers maybe get the 2×3 layout version.
