These should be standard in any electric music setup. I’ve been using them for years. Nice long power cable, built like a rock, with some filtering for noisy power. Don’t cheap out around electricity, use the good stuff.

A hunk of quality. Would buy again, however, I wish that all of the outlets were positioned outwards — I didn’t notice this when I bought it — since this would allow for chunkier adapters to fit better. As it is, you cannot fit 3 chunky adapters side-by-side, but you can fit two on the ends and a standard plug in the middle.

If your a musician you know that every outlet can potentially make your amp Starr to buzz, fuzz, or chug. This got rid of alot of static I was getting from poorly wired outlets in my buddy’s place. Amp sounds great now

This purchase was driven by my desire to protect a valued stereo amp and related system components from a potential very powerful and fast as lightning electrical surge exceeding the strength of usual power surges from sources other than lightning. To my knowledge, nothing but Furman Pro offers any realistic potential for equipment protection against an instantaneous electrical surge powerful as lightning strike. Years ago my personal business computer was the only electronic device to survive undamaged from a lightning strike which took out every other electronic device connected to the building electrical wiring during an overnight storm. Clock-radio, printers, desktop computers, wall clocks, fan, coffee maker, etc. all suffered damage except my surge protected desktop computer. That particular lightning strike was only nearby and not a direct hit on the building, but that was enough to fry a lot of devices (power supply, etc.) plugged into the wall outlets. I decided I wanted a last line of defense protecting my expensive stereo equipment and the Furman Pro Power Block (instantaneous reaction) with moderate surge protection was the best affordable solution for me. I hope I never need it.

Protects my equipment. Prevents hum and noise on audio systems using unbalanced cables. Long power cable which makes them very usable. B&H why is it cheaper to buy two of these than a single 2 pack?

Only criticism is that there’s no explanation of the red light at the top – when it’s lit, does that indicate a problem? or is that normal function? Nothing on the box, no instructions. I own 3 Furman’s – the only time I ever had a problem with 1, they replaced it no charge – didn’t even have to return it – but I did have to forward a picture of it with the power cord cut off (reasonable precaution against fraud). So nice to have someone intelligent & helpful answer the phone when you call.
