Big performance in a small package. I’m always traveling and this is now part of my “essentials” kit.

Worked fine out of the box, did not need to format. I did re-partition to 2 volumes for backups of my MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) running Mojave. All good!

Reliable!!!, I have been using the G-T for several years for my photos specially when I travel keeping one for the originals and a second for the backup. And of course, I work with them when I use the Lightroom and Photoshop, they are fast but I think this can be improvement to be faster I do recommend them

Just what I was looking for as a photographer to take with me when I travel. I am able to insure that I have a duplicate file for when I return home.

No setup required for a Mac. Cables are short, but that’s the only negative. The cables easily fit in a hermit shell case with the drive.

Already half full and still great read and write times. So darn light – a dream to carry on trips. Will be nice when the prices drop further and we’ll be all SSD.

Pros:The l disk is lightweight and smaller size than conventional disks is another advantage. Cons: Ridiculously short connection cables

So far this is very seamless & I thin I will like it a lot in the field.

Amazing! Fast! Fast! Fast! I use that a current project drive. I download all my photos directly from my camera to this drive, and than work on them in photoshop directly from it. After I edit all the photos from the session I transfer the files off this to another HDD for longterm storage. I bought this over 6 months ago, and I have had zero issues with it whatsoever.

Excellent SSD drive, and its small size is great. However, the cable is ridiculously short at and is not practical for most uses, even with a laptop.

Such a little beast. This thing is so small, I carry it around to download footage on the fly and it’s the perfect thing to be able to whip out and suck up a ton of media quickly. I just wish the cord it came with was longer so that it doesn’t have to stick directly out the side of my computer like a flash drive. That being said, it still works great.
