Gardner Bender designed the innovative locknut wrench to end frustration. Specifically developed for tightening and loosening locknuts this wrench features a thin profile that makes those normally tight spaces a thing of the past. It can be used to loosen or tighten a locknut by rotating the wrench in the direction of the arrows clearly etched into both ends of it’s sturdy steel construction. A specialty hooked tip latches onto the locknut and maximizes turning leverage. The GB Locknut Wrench is a reliable and durable addition to any tool box.

Handy tool, We use this tool quite often where we can. My only complaint is that were the lock nut is closer to a lip it doesn’t work that well. The tool only works if you are able to lay it parallel to the lock nut it needs a curved handle on it to be able to stay flat with the lock nut and be able to maneuver over the small lip of a junction box.

Handy tool for ensuring snug and tight metal connector retaining nuts. I’ve used screwdriver tips and slip-joint pliers to do the job of tightening but those don’t work nearly as well as these wrenches. A must have for tight spaces in j-boxes.
