Gardner Bender designed the innovative locknut wrench to end frustration. Specifically developed for tightening and loosening locknuts this wrench features a thin profile that makes those normally tight spaces a thing of the past. It can be used to loosen or tighten a locknut by rotating the wrench in the direction of the arrows clearly etched into both ends of it’s sturdy steel construction. A specialty hooked tip latches onto the locknut and maximizes turning leverage. The GB Locknut Wrench is a reliable and durable addition to any tool box.

I would recommend a double end wrench with 1/2″ on one end and 3/4″ on the other instead of two different sized wrenches. Other then that excellent tool.

I love these things. They make tightening and loosening locknuts on clamps and conduit super easy.

Works Ok. Could use a better pulling tooth, something that “bites” a bit better.

Works well in tight spots. The right tool for the job.

Probably could gave put the 1/2 and 3/4 on one wrench, but I would buy these again vs using a screwdriver. The are holding up well.

Would help to be offset on one end maybe

So much easier than using a screwdriver inside boxes

Kind of over priced but a good tool.

Sweet tool. Esey to use better than using a screw driver and missing it up.

I haven’t used that much, however so far it works great…no more trying with pliers.

Works great in an open box. A little tricky in a switch box with tabs.

This is a tool I’ve wished for for years. No more hitting a flat blade screwdriver with my palm! My only complaint is that they could be just a bit thicker so they stay on the nut a little better. Nevertheless, I’ll be using these frequently.

When I saw these conduit fitting lock-nut wrenches, I almost asked out loud: “Where were these fifty years ago?” Every electrician has used slip-joint pliers to tighten those almost impossible to reach lock-nuts, especially in already wire-filled boxes and struggled to get them tight. These fit right in there and get the job done. They also take up very little space in your tool pouch.

I finally had a chance to use one of these wrenches and was very pleased. I had an outdoor flood light that had external locknuts to hold the lights in place. And, the wrench worked fantastic. It grabbed the locknut easily, did not slip off, and did not leave any ugly marks on any of the light’s surfaces including the locknut. Wish I would have had this tool years ago.
