Our Dual Flow Replacement filter is NSF certified to reduce chlorine taste and odor, select pharmaceuticals, and select VOCs, lead and other contaminants. The twist and lock design provides for easy, tool-free, no-mess filter replacement. It is recommended that filters are replaced every 6-months for optimal performance.

Hi I like to have a filter clean water accessible to drink and other things around the house, these fit perfect under the cabinet and tasted wonderful, the only thing is that it does not last 6 months, in my household, it lasts for about 2 to 3 months, I am not sure why it could be that we drink too much water

We have been using this product for 3 years and I’ve replaced the filters every 6 months as per manufacture’s recommendation. The light that comes on to remind us to change the filter is an awesome feature. Changing the filters is very easy, and I’m not a “handy-person”. All our cooking and drinking water, pet water, too, is filtered. The speed of the water when it is being filtered is slightly slower than our regular water pressure but not enough to cause any frustration. Since the filter is in-line, it doesn’t interfere with the look or function of my faucet. Also, a simple twist of the dial is all I need to do if I don’t want the water filtered.

I purchased this product for when my present filters will need to be replaced in December 2020. According to the instructions, I am to click the reset button for the battery but I cannot find where the reset button is so the battery light flashes and will continue to do so until the battery dies.

Now that GE has revamped these filters, they are fantastic. Much larger and do a better job then the old filters. Water that has been standing in a glass on the counter is crystal clear. Nothing floating on the bottom of the glass like the old filters, (sometime white particles). Very easy maintenance exchanging filters. Would highly recommend this system. A shout out to GE for the amazing improvement!

GE recently upgraded the filter cartridges, the old ones didn’t remove BPA, I think, but these new ones do. I change both cartridges every six months, I write the date right on the filter in black felt tip marker so its easy to know when to replace. I know some rotate the cartridges, only installing one fresh cartridge at a time. I pipe the outlet of filter to my refrigerator’s ice/water dispenser. The refrigerator has it’s own filter, so in reality, all my potable water has been through three filters. Each box comes with the “white paper” specifying exactly what it filters out. I piped mine with soft copper tubing and compression fittings, its never leaked in ten years. Removing old and installing fresh filters can be difficult, once you change filters a couple of times it becomes easy. I like to think that the filters are protecting me from contaminants and it is comforting. Can be expensive, water quality is good without home filtration but its good to have just in case. I recommend.

I’ve been using the same filtration system for years & was very satisfied. But in the last 3 years GE thought it was a good idea to change the filters & raise the price. Well the newer ones are terrible especially the ones I just bought in December 2020 & had to return fir poor water flow . The replacement’s flow a little better, but not nearly as good as they used to be. I would not recommend this product to anyone
