The GE Twist and Lock Replacement Membrane provides better-tasting water for beverages and cooking. Designed for use with the GE Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System, the membrane requires only a quarter turn for installation. Compatible with systems PXRQ15F, PNRQ15F, PNRQ20F, PNRQ20R, and PNRQ21R.

I’ve got 10 year’s under my belt with this system. I’ve got 10 year’s under my belt with this system.I’ve got a lot of iron in my well, so I put a iron filter-hole house 5 micron filter(omni)so culligan iron filter – omni house filter than GE ro filter.. this has extended my filter life… I kept my previous system holding tank-split them- now I have 3 gal. when full. make sure your tank pressure is correct b/4 you do anything to replace… 7-9psi. empty- 19-21 full… check manual… good system, for price…I changed all filters last week (bought on line) runs great!…. REMEMBER,I’M FILTERING TWICE BEFORE IT GETS TO GE PROFILE SYSTEM…….

I am satisfied with the product as it was an exact replacement replica. However, a WARNING to newbies dealing with the cartridge replacement process: I had someone do the original installation of my reverse osmosis unit so when I ordered replacement cartridges I wasn’t aware that a “flow control valve”, which I didn’t know existed since I didn’t install it, would come with it. The new valve was attached to my new reverse osmosis cartridge with a rubber band, but I had no idea what this thin tube with a plastic thingy on the end was for. And there was nothing prominently stated in the instruction sheet or my user’s guide. I didn’t know if it was a necessary part for my unit or if it was something that was required for a different model that uses the same cartridges. I almost threw it out but decided to research further. After much Internet surfing (since I didn’t even know what to call this thing), I learned it was a flow control valve for the water entering the reverse osmosis cartridge, AND then I was able to find it in my user’s guide–which did NOT mention it in the cartridge replacement instruction but did describe it in the installation instruction. BOTTOM LINE, the manufacturer’s instructions are geared to the installer, but it would certainly be helpful if the manufacturer’s description and replacement instructions clearly referred to this flow control valve for folks like me who did not originally install the unit. As far as the product goes, I’m happy with my reverse osmosis unit; and now that I know what all the parts are, cartridge replacement and maintenance will be a breeze!

Great taste of water and so easy to install.But this process need to disinfect the system with the original ( 3 )case for the process to clean.need to put bleach 2 Tsp. in the left case with water.

I have a ” whole house filter” in my basement. It filters Philadelphia city water and turns the filter a rust color in about 3 months. I have a reverse osmosis filter in my kitchen. The prefilter gets clogged with a greenish brown sludge after about a year. Thanks GE !

It works well. It is good that it came wrapped and sealed in plastic. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5, for the foil on top was loose and opened. That makes me wonder if i got a retuned one. The same thing has happened before several times. Its packaging really needs improvement.
